Idk maybe the deportations, the minimized inflation, the massive drop in gas prices oh what's the fucking point I know you don't really care
Do you really think by the end of this decade, let alone the end of his term, the Somalis are going to be gone from Minneapolis? Do you think the Haitians are going to be gone from Springfield? Do you think the Indians are going to be gone from Texas and the Mexicans are going to be gone from California? Our administration flew a child trafficking illegal alien gang member back into the country because one judge told him to and that man is living better than both you and I right now. What makes you think he's going to get rid of the literal tens of millions of these people in that time, or ever? The deportations they're doing now are as showy and ineffective as the No Kings protests are. Actually, the lefty protests are more effective, because at least if you attack a protestor you'll be put behind bars. And I don't give a shit about the economy if I can't afford a house and all that money is going towards keeping the third world on life support.

I hear Florida is trying to do something about that
Texas reps have been promising to do something about it for decades and every 2 years it's the same story. They maybe increase the exemption for "relief" or they "cap rates" and the rent I'm forced to pay for local schools to service bonds gets higher regardless.

I want a constitutional amendment banning property taxes they fucking suck.

The economy has gone up 4% in one quarter, if people don't think that's a big deal than they're on fucking walkabout.
2% is considered healthy good growth in our GDP. 4.1% is extremely good. If Trump can keep it up, and he's really adept at that due to the fact that he's been a businessman his entire life, the economy's going to be firing on all cylinders by the time the midterms roll around.
Everybody and their mother in every election always states that the economy is one of the top issues if not the issue when it comes to an election. It's kind of hard to want to oust the party that's bringing us tremendous growth.
The GDP is only one statistic and doesn't fully describe the state of the economy. "Chamber of Commerce Republicans" chasing GDP at any social cost has been a long-running issue; it's the main reason there's any "right-wing" support for mass immigration at all, because it's cheaper labor for businesses.

Now do State property taxes next.
Ron DeSantis is actively working on it in Florida (and thinks it should be nationwide), and he actually gets shit done in his state. Nobody's perfect, don't @ me with his pudding hands or failed White House campaign, but he's a smart guy and a lawyer who knows how to work the legal system. If anybody can get the ball rolling on killing property taxes and provide an example for other states to follow, I'd say it's him.

how can you have your pay garnished if you dont have a job lol

But I also kinda agree. People got hoodwinked into student loans because people are retards and let 18 year old kids sign paperwork putting their ass on the line for $60k. That shit never should've happened in the first place but a lot of things that never should've happened in the first place happen all the time in this country so fuck us I guess.
Exactly, fuck you.
(not you specifically, the collective you)
Nobody held a gun to anyone's head and forced them to take out predatory ass loans to go to university knowing they couldn't afford it.
Last time I checked a really good community college was $4-5,000 dollars a year. This is just like people who go to the bookies and make stupid fucking longshot bets and then make a surprised Pikachu face when they can't pay it back and the mafia wants to break their legs.
You bet on yourself and you lost because you're a fucking loser. You have a PhD in jigaboo studies with a minor in simping for women, who the fuck did you think was going to hire you for a quarter of a million dollars a year?
Student loans mean you bet on yourself and you lost. Deal with the consequences of your stupidity. You could have taken a loan out for $10,000 dollars and went to community college and actually got a degree that would have been worth more than a roll of toilet tissue.
It's so offensive to me that people who can't make ends meet and try their hardest have to file for bankruptcy and these fucktards who went to University for a dumbass degree want the slate wiped clean with no repercussions. FUCK them.
Dude, just pack it in your asshole and fuck off to whatever dimension of retard world you came from. Nobody is buying the bullshit you are pushing.
Seriously, fucking guy is fat packs 2.0

You'd think they'd chase things like housing prices, wages, food costs etc

My girlfriend has been thinking of going to college and I told her to save up for a year and she'd be able to pay for her classes, she looked at me like I was crazy, thinking that school was gonna cost her 10k a year. I had to point out to her that we live right next to a community college. Way to many people think that they HAVE to go to a top of the line university when they really don't.

Trump's opponents will report that the economy is in a recession and everything is awful. The validity of such claims don't matter, only that voters believe them. Time will tell if a strategy like that is effective or not.
Trump's populist base is slowly transforming into neocon baby boomers in real time. Employment crisis across three generations? Regular expenses like groceries tripling in price? AI bubble? Student loan bubble? The stock market being infeasible for average Americans? "Now listen here sonny, the line is going up..."

I hope so since Governor Hot Wheels loves to copy whatever Florida's doing that's making headlines. At least it would take away the "it's really hard ummm m-kay" excuse if we had another state manage the change.
