"Chamber of Commerce Republicans" chasing GDP at any social cost has been a long-running issue; it's the main reason there's any "right-wing" support for mass immigration at all, because it's cheaper labor for businesses.
Ron DeSantis is actively working on it in Florida (and thinks it should be nationwide), and he actually gets shit done in his state. Nobody's perfect, don't @ me with his pudding hands or failed White House campaign, but he's a smart guy and a lawyer who knows how to work the legal system. If anybody can get the ball rolling on killing property taxes and provide an example for other states to follow, I'd say it's him.

My girlfriend has been thinking of going to college and I told her to save up for a year and she'd be able to pay for her classes, she looked at me like I was crazy, thinking that school was gonna cost her 10k a year.
