So far almost nothing those lore fags said turned out to be true. Six years or so ago I would probably have called this "too simple, sometimes naïve". But everything after 2018 has proven that mindfucking someone into irrevocably ruining their life is far easier than anyone could have imagined. Especially so for the primarily young, autistic, and male demographic of 4chan. It's depressing to consider but waying the options, it's the most likely course of events.

"Zullie" has been known by his alias for what must be over 9 years now, but only intensified his youtube activity during the lockdown. I personally am surprised it took him this long to troon out by comparison since, at least statistically speaking, the lockdown period was when the majority of troons trooned out; 4 years of being assumed to be female by an audience of hundreds of thousands, and a social climate not actively hostile to trooning out, I guess might be enough to break anyone suggestible enough.

I like their old videos just fine, and if they make more without the bat avatar thing then I'll watch those. If they force their stupid sona into all their new videos then I'll just avoid them, cause I liked the old style they had.
I think it's mean-spirited to hope they hang themselves over it, their throat's been through enough lol. There's a very high noise gate which sometimes cuts into words, which I think is there to disguise a lisp. When you speak 'normally' as a male, you've naturally got bassier, lower tones. When you avoid using your nose and minimize the use of your diaphragm, you can achieve higher, more-effeminate tones that you can modulate by tightening or relaxing your throat. The wispy, breathy way that lisps pick up when you record them is a telltale giveaway, though this could also just be a high noise gate trying to eliminate breathing sounds so as to not have to manually cut them out.

But then there's also clearly some fuckery being done in EQ, and it sounds like lower frequencies (bassier) are getting squished while mid-highs are getting boosted, sometimes with aggressive compression being applied to certain consonant sounds. When you're doing the lisp thing and avoiding the use of your nasal passage, plosives have a different and distinct sounds. Youtube compression could also be dicking around with whatever is being used.

This is really interesting and it's cool to see, but I think it falls more into the category of art using Elden Ring as the medium.
