What is this general's thoughts about AI? I know there's a lot of anti-AI sentiment out there, but given how Trump is apparently backing $500 million in a AI project powered by OpenAI and how pro-Trump this general is, I want to know how you all feel about it.
1. AI is a bubble, the burst is going to be pretty bad(hence the desperate push for AGI(not happening) )

2. Trump backing the project is fine, as there is no taxpayer money involved (apparently). There are legit concerns about the building of those giant datacenters though, especially concerning the power they gobble up

3. On that note, Trump has resorted to sucking the corpos , i am pretty sure the feds are now putting pressure on the states to stop/do away with AI legislation. It would 'stop innovation' didn't you know?

TLDR

It's a mixed bag, but I land more on feeling negative cause of how clearly overvalued it all is.

Step outside of the Thunderdome and discover we have a dedicated thread for AI discussion. This is US Politics and the government investing into new technologies is business as usual. Also, according to Reuters, reports the announcement by Donald Trump that OpenAI, SoftBank, Oracle and others would invest up to $500 billion in private-sector capital to build AI infrastructure notably, data centers across the U.S. Continuing, it describes the formation of the Stargate joint venture, explains the plan to build dozens of large data centers, and explores how smaller "neocloud" firms and hardware suppliers may benefit from or compete within this initiative. Considering all of that, I don't really care.

It is a powerful and useful tool, with the potential to change the world, and it's not even fully developed yet. I don't use it much (90% of my AI use must have been in the creation of themed avatars for the Farms) at the moment; it seems to be as unreliable and biased as the major search engines, and I see no point in using it professionally if I have to go and check a document manually afterwards for rambles about cotton shipping in 17th century Liverpool, or added random Go code in the middle of a JavaScript class. There is also a whole lot of interesting philosophical debate to be had on the themes of conscience, intelligence, and law, among others.

On practical terms, it is almost certainly in a bubble (there might be a small chance that the market and hype will calm down and the whole thing stabilizes), it'll have to start depending on (heavier) monetization or ads sooner than later to pay for its costs, and while AGI-like AI such as ChatGPT and Grok will continue to grow in power and use, the future of the field is, in my opinion, probably in narrow/specialist AI. Investing in its development is ultimately a good idea, especially when your biggest opponent is China and they, on top of their own efforts, also steal shamelessly and get away with it (because no one wants to lose access to the market and all the cheap baubles they shit out).

My brother's theory is that someone living on the compound has been selling an irresponsible amount of drugs from there.

Just took a walk down memory lane and chewed throb the highlights on election. Fuck, that was a lot of fun. Shakes the blackpills right down the drain when you remember how fucking horrible shit was up until last November.

We're still winning. Reading that shit again reminded me how badly we need to do away with mail in ballots and need to implement voter ID everywhere. Dems overwhelmingly cheat.
2008 Minnesota Senate Election. This elected Al franken and allowed dems to pass obamacare

It's kinda funny how every European culture has its cuisine and every Third World culture has its repulsive brown slop. Have they ever heard of presentation? Plating? Not being violently offensive to the senses?

I swear I did not cherry pick these, I googled the name of the nation and then "food" and took a picture without scrolling.

Bet you can identify each of the top 3 nations, would you have even a chance for the bottom 3?

I mean how about that for presentation? about an even dozen unhealthy shit piles, what do you mean you arent hungry?

Is it wrong that i just doubt tim pool is on a hit list and imo hes grifting?
beanie man is undoubtedly a retarded grifter but I wouldn't be surprised if some antifoid is actually stupid enough to attempt a drive by of their studio. a few days after Kirk was shot, some deranged shitlib faggot attempted a driveby on an ABC news station in California https://archive.ph/4MjEA

These people are severely mentally ill and will continue to do this shit until they are too much of a headache for ZOG and are sent off to the glue factory

This is not good analysis, it's very dumb, this person doesn't understand state and local government. And if Peter Hegswith were interested in impaling people in public he'd join a cartel.
But how exactly? The overall point is that he's loyal to Trump and wouldn't have a problem with taking out the hypothetical trash that starts shady shit. Where's the lie?

If the summer of love happened all over again and the circumstances permitted it, he'd bust heads.

The pretzel ranks #1, but out of the rest I'd want to eat the stew on the bottom-left.

Also there is a reason the British all eat curry rather than their national dishes. You can only eat barely-seasoned fish stews and greasy pies for so long.
