Every time Ethan gets a W on these people, it is like reading about the most horrible USSR communist party member being executed by Stalin, or just realising the monster they built.
For example, Sorgo Ordzhonikidze, one of Stalin's old friends and very close associate. He and Stalin were like bread and butter, until Stalin's mental illness started rippling through the party with all sorts of purges and paranoia:
What happens next?
He had the privilege of not being executed like the rest. There are other examples like this. Should I feel sorry for these people? Nope. Do I approve of Stalin and his actions? Not at all. But he did what he did, and there's a lot to be said when you read what was the outcome of most of the names involved in bringing that evil regime into the world, because you know most of those people in the end encountered one or another form of outcome for the evil ideas they inflicted on others.
Of course, on Ethan's case, this is all internet games, so no one is actually at risk of any harm, other than reputational, or financial, thankfully, but the attempt to take Ethan's child away was in itself an attempt of physical harm to his children.
