I think I get the "Web" one. This means the user is either offline or hasn't logged back in since the change was made. I looked at my empty account from a different browser, and it said "Web", then I opened it in the main one, and now it shows this.

This might be happening to accounts that are suspected of being bots. Weird if that's the case though.

To add onto this, there is a neat little feature that comes up iff you're using a VPN. This Lolicon BAPist will not reveal his location unfortunately, but does tell us some indicators of VPN usage

They changed it to 'account based in' to give people an out to spoof/hide it, versus the 'account created in' of yesterday where was funnier.

But this is still pretty good.

I checked some bot accounts and they list locations, whereas some OSINT accounts I follow don't. So I assume it's some sort of VPN related thing, but I don't know specifically how or why it works that way.

Also, as Null mentioned earlier, most accounts that say they're based in Ireland are probably using a VPN.

The removal of the country where the account was created in is a GIANT nerf IMO. Indians are going to smarten up and use U.S. VPNs from now on, whereas they couldn't fake the "created in India" part before. Big L. People should rally for this feature to come back.

Most of the grifter accounts have Xitter Premium, and you can get ad revenue from your tweets with Xitter Premium.
I think they do make money, but it's probably not a large sum of USD. But even a small amount of USD will go far in third world countries.
