VPN is only useful for the part that shows where you are currently. More useful is where the account was created since few will have had the foresight to cover their tracks back when these accounts were originally created. From looking at my own throwaway account the "based in" info is less reliable and will show this if you use a VPN:

For me it just shows the country I manually set the account to, so that makes that info kinda useless. The country info for the join date however is accurate and I would assume it is
for most other accounts if they forgot to use a VPN when creating their account.
I get why you would note if an account is using a VPN or proxy if you're going to implement a system like this, but accounts from first world countries that are using them are always going to be accused of being Indian or Israeli or whatever and trying to hide it. There are legitimate reasons to use a VPN other than to obfuscate what country you're in.
Who the hell is using a VPN set to India? I've been connected to a VPN more or less constantly for the past several years and I've never felt the need to connect to a server outside my own country except when trying to access country-specific content. From looking at my own throwaway account the "based in" info is less reliable and will show this if you use a VPN:
Your food delivery robot? Indians.Everybody got it wrong. Instead of robots taking over conflicts/fronts, it's going to be outsourced indians on the front lines used by all sides.
(it's much worse than the dead internet theory)Brown Internet theory.
Probably all registered from Little Saint James. What about those faggot with the Lincoln project or Reagan battalion? If that's what they were called...
You act like your location wasn’t already available to X before this. This is prepping twitter for censorship and to allow twitter to streamline the process of handing information to police in relative countries.
A/B testing is so common that it's impossible to trust screenshots, even they're from a reputable source. Another part of the post-truth society we live in.Is this real? Insane if so.
Edit: Someone has a screen recording of it.

Edit 2: A discrepancy I just noticed between the screenshot (from one user) and the screen recording (from a different user) is that one displays the location as "Tel Aviv, Israel" and the other just displays it as "Israel". One displays "Connected via Israel App Store" and the other displays "Connected via Israel Android App". One also mentions username changes and the other doesn't. The screenshot version also lacks the checkmark but the recording version has it. So it's probably faked.
To be fair, no one likes them. I'm guessing jeets assumed beggars can't be choosers like a fat kid who saw another fat kid at recess but they thought wrong. Everyone draws the line when it comes to jeets.Giving internet access to india and its consequences:
Also why are they so desperate to suck off jews? Do they not know that the Jews dont like them, or??
