Newsom is disliked by almost everyone. He just has a D by his name and whatever is in the water here in California gives people enough brain damage to not care about anything else. I doubt anyone wants this guy.

Every single play the Democrats have had since Trump 2016 has been to obstruct, subvert, and delay anything he does so that they can get him out in 2020 / 2028. This became even more blatant this time since he's on his last term and apparently effectively purged his circles of subversives like Cocaine Mitch's assholes, so all they really have is lawfare. And they're losing the lawfare.

This is just an extension of that. "Make it so our subversives in other departments have justification to ignore the chain of command" which will lean into more lawfare. I doubt they want to do it to specifically cause the military to fracture, it's probably more aligned with the idea that when Trump orders the ATF or EPA to do something some deep state swamp creature can go "that's illegal (I don't want to do it) so I'm not doing it and you can't make me."

Then Trump either has to fire that person (lawfare immediately commences, where some traffic court judge says he can't fire anyone, ok he can fire some people but in X Y Z instances he can't, ok he can fire peole in those instances but not if the outcome wo uld be X Y Z ....") or do an end run around them (lawfare immediately commences, where they state some EPA staffer outranks the president) or make Trump flinch before ordering anything becuase a leader should NEVER give an order he knows would not be obeyed...

Trump is very right in reacting to this as sedition. We kill people who do this for a reason. A Government in open revolt against itself's BEST CASE response is to collapse. The worst case scenario would be the next Trump-like just starts shooting these smug fuckers when they try it and replacing them.

I keep saying that kamala had a good chance of winning if she just leaned on the fact that she imprisoned a lot of black men, she should have gone to the debate and say "so what, if i jailed all those niggers? when i win i will jail a million more niggers, hell i'll get every single one of dem bucks and break em back to africa, what do you think about that lil donnie" and she would truly have had the huwhite boys all over her.

Hey, I agree with you. Newsom sucks ass. I simply think he (and Dems in general) could win if they loosened their neckties once in a while and did anything remotely controversial in favor of straight white men.
 
Hmm, comment to quote got eaten, but someone was asking about gas prices. Here, the difference between now and one year ago is an increase of 3.4% (not too bad given inflation was 2-some percent). The average for all of 2025 versus 2024, however, is a decrease of 6.2% which isn't too shabby at all. As always, YMMV.

The left seems to think that disobedience and acts of violence are totes okay but only if they're the ones doing it - especially in liberal strongholds where law enforcement and the legal system allow it with impunity. Justice was supposed to be blind but special interests gave it partisan sight. *sigh*

Talk about a complete non-starter. Trump's attempts to trick Russia by demanding an assload of concessions in exchange for absolutely nothing have failed before, due to being too transparent, and it is unclear why he thinks the same approach might work now. Meanwhile, this plan is also unacceptable for Ukraine and will result in nothing but demoralizing Ukrainians.
