They got Democrats to look like incompetent idiots and killed any gained momentum from the recent elections IN JUST 5 FUCKING DAYS. Everyone in their hearts know Democrats caused this shutdown, and some of the normies were using the cope, "Well they did but it's for a good cause. It's so we get healthcare!" To justify things. Now you can't even do that. The Democrats have lost all their leverage and accomplished NOTHING! Not even getting emboldened by "major" election wins was able to give Democrats a backbone.
