Disaster "I hate him": Mohamed raped Meya, 16 – avoids deportation - Mohamed is now sentenced to prison but will not be deported because the rape did not last long enough

Meya Åberg, then 16, was attacked and raped by Mohamed on her way home from work in Skellefteå. On her first day back at school, she saw the perpetrator, who is now sentenced to prison but will not be expelled because the rape did not last long enough. An SD jury member wanted to expel her – but was overruled by the other judges. I want to say that I hate him and that he has destroyed me, Meya tells Norran.

The assault occurred on Sunday, September 1, 2024, when Meya missed the bus and walked through an underpass after finishing his shift at McDonalds.

An African man took her phone, grabbed her and followed her into the tunnel. There he raped her before she managed to break free and escape.

– I was completely devastated, Meya tells Norran.

Meya and her family immediately reported the incident to the police. After the rape, Meya was home from school for a few days. But on the first day she returned, she saw the African, whose name is Yazied Mohamed and comes from Eritrea, standing at the pool table in the school cafeteria.

– I had a panic attack, ran away and locked myself in a toilet, Meya tells Norran.

After that, she continued to see Mohamed several times in town, at work and at school. This led to her deciding to simply stop going to school.

The then 18-year-old man was arrested but acquitted in the district court due to lack of evidence. After the prosecutor appealed the verdict, the Court of Appeal made a different assessment and sentenced Yazied Mohamed to three years in prison for rape. He must also pay 240,000 kronor in damages to Meya Åberg.

Yazied Mohamed is a citizen of Eritrea and the prosecutor requested that he be deported. However, the Court of Appeal notes that the 19-year-old has refugee status. In order to deport him, the law therefore requires that the act he has committed "constitutes a particularly serious crime and that allowing him to remain in Sweden would pose a serious threat to public order and security."

The rape of 16-year-old Meya is not a sufficiently serious crime to justify deportation, the Court of Appeal rules, which refers, among other things, to the "duration" of the rape in its assessment.

"Rape is therefore in many cases to be considered as such an extremely serious crime that can result in a refugee being deported, but an assessment of all the circumstances in the individual case must be made. Taking into account the nature and duration of the act in question, the Court of Appeal finds that the crime is indeed serious, but that it was not such an extremely serious crime that could lead to a decision to deport Yazied Mohamed. The deportation request must therefore be rejected," the Court of Appeal for Upper Norrland writes in its judgment.

Judge Sammy Lie (SD) disagreed and wanted to expel Mohamed.

"Unlike the majority, I believe that the crime is a particularly serious crime and that it would pose a serious danger to public order and security to allow Yazied Mohamed to remain in Sweden. Yazied Mohamed's connection to Sweden is not such that he should not be expelled. I therefore believe that Yazied Mohamed should be expelled from the country and prohibited from returning here," writes Lie in a dissenting opinion.

The judges who did not want to expel Mohamed were the Court of Appeal Councillors Lars Viktorsson and Elida Sundkvist, the acting Court of Appeal Assessor Hanna Hamrén (referent) and the lay judge Lena Berggren.

Meya has undergone trauma treatment and received support from friends and family. She hopes her story will inspire others to come forward.

I see Sweden's brilliant policy of paying the Allahu Akbars about $1000 to fuck off is going well.

I'm also against deportation of this individual from Sweden. In a just system he would be hanged. Preferably alongside the judges who blocked his deportation.

Holy shit "it was only a short rape". Imagine being told that as the victim.

I think a lot of countries need to reassess the people who have ended up as judges, and probably change the process for appointing them.

Me? I'd hang the cunt. Put me in coach, I'm ready!

Sweden is the country in which police told a rape victim that since she opened the door to see who it was, she was asking for it. The behavior of Swedish police is on par to that of British and German police. They are absolutely revolting.

Lars Viktorsson, Elida Sundkvist, Hanna Hamren, and Lena Berggren should all be publicly flogged for a week, then hanged by the neck until dead.

She has a father. He'll never do anything. She has grandfathers. They'll never do anything. She has neighbors, friends, most likely a brother or two. None will ever do anything. And that is exactly why this keeps happening.
No. This keeps happening because Europeans were used to the government taking care of scum like this for hundreds of years, and the state refuses to do its job.
The answer is not vigilantism, it is replacing the government.

I'm sure they'll simply vote their way out of this any time now, and when they do, their government will respect that vote like they always do. It's just that easy!

Why is the goal always "deportation" instead of execution anyway?

You get invited in somewhere and rape a child, your punishment is just that you have to leave? You'd think that people would want to keep them in the country they committed the crime in order to actually see justice done.

Remember this when they start talking about rape culture and feminism. This is their honest position. The so called feminists are ok with rape if it isn’t them and if it’s politically convenient to ignore.

but will not be expelled because the rape did not last long enough.
What the actual fuck?

Women voted for this? Seems like they have rape fantasies. I hope they are obliged, repeatedly.

I think at this point in European history, the latter is only going to happen through the former. Their governments don't pretend to enforce the law so I will no longer pretend that their democratic elections will solve these issues.

Meanwhile, we have A&N posters who will never do anything (about anything). Sad, very sad. Maybe someone else will do something, and something will ever happen.
