This kid could have been one of my friends in college. All we did between classes and partying was playing MTG drafts, drinking and smoking. This seems to lend credence to the idea that it was a spur of the moment thing. For years he had been close with this guy. You are the company you keep. So eventually it radicalized him and built up pressure. Then he heard Charlie Kirk was coming to town, and then for whatever irrational reason he decided to take his shot, possibly a combination of 1. trying to rid a perceived threat to the one person he cares about and 2. try to alleviate the stress by taking out his frustration on someone else and make himself feel proud since he doesn't have anything else going on in life.

People are saying 19 is too young to go prison gay, but because of the autismo he likely went through all of school without any attention from the opposite sex, but still craved closeness, then instantly latches unto a schizo autist who gets touchy feely when drunk.
