Watching back Two and a Half Men and Lois & Clark made me appreciate Teri Hatcher more. I, in all seriousness, think she's too fit to be Lois Lane. Yeah, I know Amy Adams was also Lois, but my stepdad always insisted on putting on the Christopher Reeve Superman films when I used to visit him and my mum on a more regular basis, so I'll always see Margot Kidder as Lois Lane. And, the first thing I saw Teri Hatcher in, actually was Two and a Half Men, when I was just about starting puberty properly.
I wouldn't have minded giving Ava Gardner a try, too - even during her drowning her blues by drinking and shagging waiters in Madrid phase. Ella Purnell ain't bad, either. It's the eyes, which I first saw in Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - the only film where Eva Green isn't made out to be a total babe.
