Instead of reading down kiwifarms posts that calls him raped 20 times (which was extremely funny), I'd love to see him read down this post and see him try to debate away all the consequences of his own actions. We know he won't, because he knows he's wrong, and losing a debate to kiwifarms (again) might put him over the edge.
During one of those streams where he was complaining about anti fans and kiwi farmers, one of the Footsoldiers asked him why he doesn't just have one of his anti-fans on stream to debate him about it. I can't remember what his response was, but I remember thinking I would LOVE to argue with him about his behavior. There's one question that I would love for him to answer.
How has anyone in his life benefitted more from his presence? Has he generally been a net benefit rather than a net negative? Because from where I sit, he really just makes people's lives worse. And I have no sympathy for anyone who chooses to be his friend or partner going forward because it's all out there.
The one exception to that is probably Erudite because I think she got fucked over. She believed in this guy, who KNOWS he's not reliable and knew he wasn't going to put the effort into this thing but still allowed her to move to a new country. And she doesn't seem to be making a lot of money, so I wonder if she's regretting her decision but trying to make the best of a shitty situation because she wants to believe that this guy can be a decent person. She was an addiction counselor and she seems to be treating him like she would a drug addict, but fails to realize that even if he does hit rock bottom he can't take accountability for anything, so all of the 12 Step rules would never apply to him. I do feel bad for her because she does seem like she has good intentions.
I've always felt that Destiny's lack of self-reflection and his complete unwillingness to accept any of the consequences of his actions (which was discussed nicely in the Bert post above) is partially intentional as it provides some utility for destiny.
In some ways I think Destiny likes (or probably gets off on) the idea that he's this lone crusader against all the tankies, commies, fascists, whores who are suing him, and that he alone has the fortitude to stand up to it all. It's gives both him and his audience of useless incel faggots a purpose to rally behind as they've all deluded themselves that they're the only principled ones and every attacker is "unhinged".
He won't ever take responsibility both because he's narcissistic, but also because he literally can't. To do so would be to then distance himself from the monster he's created in his audience. He needs to them for survival, and since they are empty meat filled husks that rely on Destiny's cult of personality to shape their beliefs, his admission of any wrongdoing and stepping back from the streaming space for awhile would end his career for good, as his audience would have nothing left to cling to because it's coming directly from him.
So no, he will never take responsibility.
He probably does like the idea of being a lone crusader, but I think it has more to do with needing to be in competition with everyone around him. His bitterness and jealousy is something he wears on his sleeve. He wants to be THE guy. And he shouldn't be THE guy because he can't keep any positions for more than a couple of years. Which is insanely irresponsible. If you know about yourself that you will probably change your opinion, then maybe you should shut the fuck up and not spread whatever message strikes your fancy at the moment.
This idiot should pay attention to someone like Marc Maron, who was a known asshole in the comedy industry but is now well respected. Before he started WTF, which he started in part to have conversations with all the people he was a prick to, he was known for being a bitter jealous asshole who was rude and hateful to everyone. After several divorces and a completely stagnant career (including a radio show with the cum guzzler himself Sam Seder) Marc decided to have actual conversations with the people he was shitty to. He worked things out with most of them, with some exceptions like Jon Stewart. Now he's a legend. People can be forgiven and can change, but they have to be capable of it. Destiny, unfortunately, is not capable of it. He will continue to be a bitter, hateful prick who thinks nothing is his fault.
