If the factories do go back here, in order to sell something cheaper than tariffed goods, the factory workers will be paid way below the minimum wage. Expect strikes and people walking out before a month is over. Then you will realize why things like shirts and toys are made overseas, not here at home.

Don't forget about the possibility of ice raids too, like the Koreans rounded up on the Hyundai factory they are building in Tennessee (I think). Obviously I don't know the details of their visas, but I do know that most of the Koreans who were given the option to stay here or go home after that went home. I'd not be surprised if Korea was less likely to offer to come help train people in that factory if it ever gets finished.
