Are you Jewish? Have you had a DNA test?
Yes, and I am entirely Anglo-Saxon. It's literally fucking 100%. Just look at me though. I would have assumed I had at least a little bit of Jew in me both from my physiognomy and mentality. I'm really smart in a really Jewy way. I'm actually amazed I'm not a bit Jewish.

I guess I'll just enjoy the bagels, cream cheese and lox.
OT but I like bagels with goose liver pate. Bagels with schmear of any type is a breakfast you can get on the table in however long it takes you to toast a bagel. For me that is about 10 mins.
The idea that women cannot or do not gravitate to higher-order or "bigger" thinking is absurd.
Apparently you can be micro-oriented and capable of doing laundry, buying pants, preparing meals, and hoovering the apartment, or you can read The Decameron and Confessions of St. Augustine, or perhaps grasp the fine points of (((finance))) and make yourself filthy rich, but not both; which still doesn't quite explain why FW can't do any of it.
FW, you're bad at macro and need random Jews and women on the Internet to hold your hand through vacuuming your house and buying trousers
Not even I talked to this guy in depth about how to self massage with a tennis ball and he was like "I can't obtain a tennis ball" like he never heard of going to the tennis court and stealing a discarded one, which is a heist my two year old has done like six times.
How do we even work with this? Apart from flying myself to Christchurch, hunting him down like a Mossad agent, throwing him in an unmarked van, and forcibly buying him stylish pants?!

@RandyMiskatonic neg rating every post anyone else makes won't change Trombonista's decision it just makes you look like a sped

Anyone know any remedies for an itchy throat? Still fucked from the flu. I'm trying a big glass of gin.

He killed himself.

He was a troubled soul. Did you see his creativity though? I want to do that. I just need time and energy to do so.

OPTION: MAN UP AND ENDURE THE PAIN OF RECOVERY. Yes your skin will have to heal from the steroid cream. Yes maybe the original problem will come back. I am begging you to see a fucking dermatologist. Holy fucking shit. You really think the Jews are forcing you to put that stuff on your face?

I can't man up. If I stop taking the creme then my face will be taken over by rashes and it won't go away. I'm dead once globalism collapses in the near future.

That depends on your hair and skin condition, and you'll probably need to consult a doctor if you think you got ringworm on your head. That stuff can lead to permanent bald patches in the hair. (And you should see the doctor anyway, and not just about your dandruff, but for the mental illness that's ruining your life, and the mystery illness that you believe is killing you in the medium term.) There's prescription shampoos that will work better than H&S.

I think you've overlooked the possibility that some of us do find our jobs mentally engaging, and that you're fucked because you're in a job you don't like but seem too terrified to leave, or to even get assertive to the bosses about taking your promised vacation time.

Ringworm? They cause itchy skin? The doctors won't help me so if you do know of a good shampoo I'd appreciate it. I tried Selsun Blue but it was far too chemically and with how difficult washing my hair is it was too much of an ordeal.

But if you found a hobby then that could be as mentally engaging as your work you know.

Yes. I read, and I think. A lot. And have done forever. Knowledge-seeking and "big ideas" have pretty much defined my non-practical life and are where my strongest personal passions lie. Just because I haul mulch and iron clothes and do other chores on my days off, and can break down into micro-steps for you how to get up and get the day going, including making tea and a full breakfast in under 20 minutes, and just because I kick around here far too much engaging in mostly trivial things, doesn't mean I don't spend a fair bit of time on much more serious intellectual and artistic engagement. "Macro," if you will. How much and to what depth has varied at different points in life, as needs and opportunity dictate. But yes, I - a mere woman - am a thinker - intellectually engaged, and in fact requiring intellectual stimulation - and yet I can still execute on the basics of the "micro" life. The idea that women cannot or do not gravitate to higher-order or "bigger" thinking is absurd.

I really don't see how breakfast can only be 20 minutes. It takes me an hour on a week day and two hours in the weekends.

Do you have an imagination would you say?

Women have a hard time understand things on the national level, or on the spiritual level. Women are better with in the box thinking and dry text books.

The way I describe things is not scientific at all. The way women describe things is like they are remembering a science book from university.

I'm glad you are not Jewish. I am Anglo-Saxon and Nordic apparently, from the black watch scots. We need to band together if we want to survive.

But you can buy them literally everywhere. It's not some piece of specialized equipment and even FW should know that pet shops stock them. How does this man need a step-by-step plan to do literally anything and even then fails at it.

@Forsaken Wanderer Did you even buy those pants? Regarding the ringworm, I don't really know nigga. It's not 1940 and not all Jews are doctors. What you need is an antifungal shampoo like Nizoral but I'm not sure whether they even sell it in NZ. I wouldn't be surprised if you considered it too "chemical" as well. If you don't to anything about it, you'll literally go bald and instead of patchy hair, end up with a patch of red, irritated skin on your head.

That's because you're retarded.

I've seen it. He made a meme OS that nobody uses and coined a phrase that only Internet autists use. I wish his creativity had gone somewhere more worthwhile, but I guess that being the topic of lolcow Youtube videos is something that you aspire to.

Why would you be able to buy tennis ball at a pet shop? Who are they expecting you to play tennis with, a kangaroo?

I need pants as my current pants are ripping as I got those pants in Jan and it's now Sep.

If you look at his abilities he was very clever. He made his own pixelizer, so he could take photos and then pixelize them to make it look like video game graphics, and then put this image into a game.

I actually like Jews though. I say this with a total lack of irony.

Do you know that jews killed 100 million whites over the last 100 years? If not more than that.-00---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------te ttte---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dude, I gave you Yeats. And despite its fantastic, fantastical imagery right in line with your visions, you sniffed you didn't get it and speculated rather drily about it - 0 sense of the power or beauty or underlying emotion and spiritual reckoning inspiring it - to the point I had to decide you were just being deliberately obstinate and obtuse.

Meanwhile, you are a person who says "I've never heard of that" and "but where would I get a tennis ball" when someone says jfc, just get a ball and roll your aching back against the wall. I mean, a) a child can figure out a ball and a wall (I know I did, even before the internet - amazing!) - it's basic physics and anatomy involved, b) how has a grown man never heard of this, c) one search in all your time online would've brought it up as a way to try to iron out crunchy back muscles, and d) "where would I get a tennis ball."

That last one is just the cherry from someone claiming that women are literal and are rote-memorizers, unlike men (like yourself, presumably) with their soaring thoughts and advanced comprehension of things too large for little ladies' heads.

Honestly, the irony of your statement here is hilarious. Like in any other situation I'd swear it was a sly troll.

Oh yeah, that.

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

And there we go. Yeats expressing the utter evil of the world we're living in.

Since we're all sharing Yeats, I enjoyed Sailing to Byzantium in particular:
That is no country for old men. The young
In one another’s arms, birds in the trees
—Those dying generations—at their song,
The salmon-falls, the mackerel-crowded seas,
Fish, flesh, or fowl, commend all summer long
Whatever is begotten, born, and dies.
Caught in that sensual music all neglect
Monuments of unageing intellect.

An aged man is but a paltry thing,
A tattered coat upon a stick, unless
Soul clap its hands and sing, and louder sing
For every tatter in its mortal dress,
Nor is there singing school but studying
Monuments of its own magnificence;
And therefore I have sailed the seas and come
To the holy city of Byzantium.

O sages standing in God’s holy fire
As in the gold mosaic of a wall,
Come from the holy fire, perne in a gyre,
And be the singing-masters of my soul.
Consume my heart away; sick with desire
And fastened to a dying animal
It knows not what it is; and gather me
Into the artifice of eternity.

Once out of nature I shall never take
My bodily form from any natural thing,
But such a form as Grecian goldsmiths make
Of hammered gold and gold enamelling
To keep a drowsy Emperor awake;
Or set upon a golden bough to sing
To lords and ladies of Byzantium
Of what is past, or passing, or to come.

Or of the world after WWI. But here was FW's response:

The second coming poem is nice but I don't really understand things that are abstract. it sounds like a creepy being of pure decay is coming out of the desert to herald the end of the west. A being with the body of a lion and the head of a man, yet it does not have the same standing as a large cat does in the wild, it's a chimera that is as unnatural as the hastened death of the white man.

I'm actually amazed I'm not a bit Jewish
We’re all a little bit Jewish honey

I can't really make a recommendation; you need a dermatologist (or even just a general physician) to examine your scalp and face and get a history and perhaps do some sampling & lab tests to figure out what's happening. In any case, there's a whole formulary of prescription shampoos you can't obtain over the counter that are going to be more effective than OTC products, with higher concentrations of active ingredients. For all you know H&S could be making the problem worse.

General hair-washing advice: there's more to life than Head & Shoulders. (There's better anti dandruff shampoos than H&S too, like Nizoral, which someone else suggested.) Consider the nature of your hair and skin when choosing products - e.g. oily skin vs dry, fine hairs vs thick follicles, and what your problems are; does the hair break easily when you comb or do you want more volume and so on. A hairdresser can make specific recommendations (usually for salon product they sell, but they will make a recommendation for the cheaper drugstore/grocery store brands if you ask. With the exception of colored hair I think salon quality shampoo isn't really necessary - it's a nice to have, maybe you like the way it smells or etc. but the cheap stuff will get your hair just as clean.)

Unless your hair is very oily (i.e. noticeably stringy and greasy after 24 hours) you don't need to wash it every day. Washing less often (and/or alternating between a anti-dandruff shampoo and a milder one) may help with the irritation you have. If your dandruff is so severe you get flakes after one day, you need to consult a physician. You should use conditioner. It will help rehydrate your scalp if that is the cause of the irritation and flakes, but it probably won't hurt anything if there's another cause (like tinea aka ringworm... which I'm still getting over after my cruise and it SUCKS! And that will cause severe flaking of the skin and blistering and you can get it on the scalp. You have to keep applying the antifungal or it just comes right back.)

But like I said, you need to examination by a physician, not beauty tips from a lady in Massachusetts who can only offer general advice. They're the ones who can rule out stuff like tinea (miserable) that would require special medicated product to fix.

That last one is just the cherry from someone claiming that women are literal and are rote-memorizers, unlike men (like yourself, presumably) with their soaring thoughts and advanced comprehension of things too large for little ladies' heads.
For me we reached are-you-pulling-my-leg absurdity when Mooty could not understand why pet shops stock tennis balls.

But, since he knows how to order groceries, cat food, and liquor delivery he's probably capable of ordering tennis balls on amazon.nz, he's just not motivated. This is a deficiency I notice in general; you give him good advice and he can't or won't act on it. I've sent him specific links and suggested sizes for clothes from Ballantyne's and also some Jewish Department store in NZ that would deliver to his general area, I don't think he followed up, and now he's complaining that his pants are ruined. I see why his mom might've cut him off on this... it's a little exhausting.

On some level, maybe Mooty enjoys this predicament he's in. Some people paradoxically enjoy being miserable and want to have a reason to complain. I encounter this sort of person sometimes at work in a pastoral context, looking to bend the Rector's ear about whatever physical ailment they have (but they don't follow doctor's advice or go to PT) or relationship problems they have (but they don't try to do things differently or reframe their thinking) or spiritual problems they struggle with (but they don't pray or read the Bible, so it's all rather surface level and sophomoric.) And it's a bit like masochism, because this way FW feels he's the wronged and suffering one in a cruel world run by ((you know who)) rather than a person who's capable of making his life better, at least in certain ways, but chooses not to.

And his reaction to Yeats is very disappointing. This guy thinks women are incurious and intellectually stunted? Verdammt...

Anyone know any remedies for an itchy throat? Still fucked from the flu. I'm trying a big glass of gin.
Late and gay but:
1. Gargle with warm salt water and a little bit of peroxide solution (spit it out after)
2. Tea with lemon and honey
3. Throat lozenges like Ricola

Alcohol consumption is known to suppresses your immune system; that plus your aversion to the clot shot(s) would seem to be borrowing trouble. Unless the plan is to call in sick the maximum number of times annually and not be lying about it? That would be a 4D chess move to avoid wage cage and cash in sick time but probably not worth getting the flu. You’re better off just cashing in the PTO you already have accrued.
