They also need to narrow the definition of autism and do something about so many people being over-diagnosed, especially lazy "failure to thrive" adults looking for an excuse for being socially inept losers. While I have no doubt that certain vaccines, medicine, and processed foods are causing real problems and legit autism in some people, there are a lot of people these days that do not have autism. The definition has become so broad that basically everyone can say they're autistic now.

Lots of students graduate pre med, biology, chemistry and other relevant degrees with solid grades from good schools. They get passed over and get told to become barista's for "diversity" and also because they refuse to provide enough slots period to meet demand. Those who graduate med school then get to go through "residency" which once again awards DEI people with doing useless bullshit and puts people through the single worst way to teach anyone skills that require deep understanding, and empathy.

Meanwhile Dr. Pajeet pays the appropriate bribes as befits his caste and his Doctorate gets honored by the AMA and he gets to write scripts for drugs out the wazoo.

The AMA is a de facto guild system that every other high skill profession needs to copy asap.

I think they started phasing in "gentler" flavors of what they now call "autism" once they realized there was a very real danger at the time of people no longer calling it "autism" but instead referring to it as "stupid enough to bang your own head into brick walls -- to the point of serious injury -- when you get mad." That way they could say "not everyone with autism is a low-functioning rage puddle!"

So a lot of people seem to be reacting to the Autism conference with out listening to anything from it.

The main focus was Tylenol. The issue is with pregnant women taking it, not children. This is kinda of a big deal since it was the only NAISD not prohibited to pregnant women. It seems like they are just a terrible class of drugs for developing fetuses. I feel like RFK Jr was indirectly throwing shit at big pharma and the government not looking into Tylenol for health research. FDA will make Acetaminophen label itself as a risk to pregnant women.

On the vaccines, it was much less directly accusitory of Autism, and more general advisory that the vaccine schedule should be spread out, specifically the MMR combo.
