NASA has been operationally paralyzed for decades. They don't deserve the money a they don't do anything with it.
Not really. The James Webb Space Telescope has been a massive success. NASA isn't sending people into space anymore because it's expensive, risky, and there isn't any real discussion about how to replace the ISS yet (and the ISS is a lab, do not let anyone tell you otherwise). The ISS should have been decommissioned years ago and is only still up there because no replacement has been commissioned.

So they are focusing more on astronomy research, which is pretty fucking cool if you like astronomy, as well as unmanned probes. The most recent launch for the IMAP program is gonna be sick as fuck for heliophysicists, and it's also looking at particle acceleration.

Did you watch any of his podcast? He did an episode with Kirk. I mean, I haven't personally, but I'm just curious whether you have availed yourself of some of the best evidence to test your theory on his state of mind.

kirk wasn't directly attacking his ability to do his job or anything about his identity

I think Paul Thomas Anderson is still butthurt over the fact that he adapted the book "Oil!", also known as "Capitalism is le Bad", written by a literal communist and turned it into There Will Be Blood, a movie where audiences loved the main character and the entire "point" of the movie was ignored by most people.

It's Starship Troopers with its hecking media literacy all over again.
It's more the fact that Anderson married the lunatic lefty Maya Rudolph and had mixed race kids with her, which made his wife even more of a shrill harpy forcing her husband to go hyperwoke in his work; especially after Phantom Thread and it's "women are talentless parasites that are evil and literally poison brilliant men to the brink of death to keep them slaves" probably made Maya realize what her husband REALLY fucking thinks of his wife.

That said, Anderson has attempted to backpeddle with interviews for the film saying that the Antifa characters aren't exactly good people and that everyone is fucked up. Along with saying that his decision to make the main characters a mixed race family was based on his own mixed race family

Anderson really strikes me as someone who knows woke shit is stupid, but he's desperate to toe the party line for fear of being run out of Hollywood.
The day of the auteur is over. You can't self-fund a project as massive as One Battle with an all-star cast unless you have connections.

Probing the 7th planet?

NASA is cool and should be funded, but only if the economy is actually strong enough to fund what basically amounts to extracurriculars. We can live a generation or two without NASA giving us something like velcro again so we can actually afford it.

The only reason I'm not for downsizing the military is because of chinks, muzzies, and retarded eurofags needing to be put in their places.

IIRC he only made OBAA to work with DiCaprio, who had been wanting to work with Anderson for AGES but never could find a project DiCaprio liked enough to want to make.

I think to a certain extent the DNC, the progressive wing at least, was ok with the spending and the electoral defeat. People need to remember that the democrats don't view their message as wrong, or the issue as to why they can't win, but that the voters are simply uninformed, or bigots; or both. "Trump won because this is AmeriKKKa" is an unironic statement amongst DNC members. The money question wasn't as big of a deal as people make out. Legally they were bound to spend that money on a ticket with either Biden or Kamala's name on it; or refund it to donors. Does anyone seriously believe they were ever going to refund that money? I hope not. When you remember those two things, Kamala losing like she did doesn't sound so bad from that point of view. What does sound bad is writing a tell-all that isn't a 100% bullshit "we lost because the American public let us down." If she had paid someone else to write that it was "the voter's fault", she'd still be good.
Progs weren't ok with losing because they knew Trump would seek revenge on them for their attempts to destroy the lives of him and his allies and supporters plus the fact that Progs needed the Presidency to keep power since Congress is useless and they won't have another chance to claim the Supreme Court in their lifetime.

Oh, sure, I'm not saying it would be this hostile environment where he'd have any cause to chimp out and hit Kirk or anything, my point is just that the podcast format should be at least somewhat unscripted and demonstrate his ability, or lack thereof, to think on his feet.
