The user on the forum posted it was all scraped and as someone else mentioned previously this seems similar to another mass-scraping done before. It seems to also be being offered as a service (pay-per-convo/lookup), so. Nothingburger being used to farm clout, methinks.

Steam Community is Steam's social media. Thing is that Gabe & Co have a very hands-off approach to it so a lot of radical opinions, both left and right, proliferate on there freely. I can understand Groomcord, and reddit/twitch being officially powered by extremists makes sense, but Steam is probably one of the least offensive platform out there, unless they're held responsible for the communications in the games sold on steam.

I agree that Valve is incredibly inoffensive in comparison to the other platforms, but there are still a lot of trannies shooting places up with decked out Steam profiles, and there have historically been some controversial games.
