Your post made me think of how funny the denial-posting on this thread really is. If you have the barest essentials to reading people, you will be able to tell that something thoroughly fucked must have been going on for pictures like that to exist. I always thought the evidence for Marky was weak and presented by the biggest autists ever, so I disregarded it. I also think it's interesting that nobody starts squawking about Marky until after their interactions with Hyde have already bitten the dust in a large way, i.e. Channing, Mauro and Burt. The new OP doesn't really change my mind about that.

I don't like Sam Hyde's political grifting. I haven't been able to get all the way through a single video. Therefore I feel no need to defend him. If 15 years of crying about Marky hasn't been enough to change anybody mind, I don't think another 15 years of squawking is going to do it. Clearly Hyde has changed his business model to attract a newer, younger audience than the MDE and comedy fans. I'm not a fan of the new e-daddy thing.

I literally never said this. I said that Channing co-opting Marky's story as her own while being a belligerent drunk retard did Sam more favors than anyone else on Earth. I also said that since it was 10 years ago and his fans will never care, there's not much point talking about it.

The wild thing about Sam is that he could come out and tell everyone the Marky stuff is true, that he is unrepentant and that he hates his fans and nothing would come of it. I think Sam has had some funny moments but the dude has some serious skeletons in his closet. After Jet Neptune crashed fishtank, and the gorillas nest podcast with Harland, I would not be surprised if we see another decline in Sam content for a while.
 
I think as time goes on, the Marky stuff becomes more known and people become more curious about what that all is about.
I remember hearing of the Marky stuff like 3ish years ago and pretty much brushed it off as drama.
Until that video showing the layout of Sam's apartment compared to the pictures of Marky and him, and the timeline with the fucking glasses, it's pretty concrete evidence.
This is unfortunately one of those times where Sam legally gets away with it. Morally, how much longer until the majority knowledge is that Sam had sex with a 16 year old and that fact should disgust a lot of you. It actually is pretty bold of Sam to make a video about a current topic not thinking people were going to bring up the Marky story.
