It also points out the fundamental flaw that exposes the transgender fad: that if you really were born the wrong body, why are people desperately trying to return to that wrong body? There was a very good reason that you had to go through YEARS of therapy and see a psychologist before they even considered giving you hormones, let alone the surgery. It was because they needed to weed out the mentally ill who were trying to use having a sex change as a way to "cure" the pain that was inside of them. Giving a confused hormonal child/young adult dangerous hormones is like catching your kid with pot and the doctor prescribing him heroin. And detransitioners are proof positive that pretending to be something you're not is not the answer to your hardships. You can't make a dog a cat just because you can get him to meow.
