I'm not saying they could have done anything to catch him quicker. And I agree with you on the luck/stupidity front, but equally, luck saved Patel here. Up until they caught the guy, Patel wasn't exactly making a strong showing when out of the gate he mistakenly said that they had the guy. So I just thought a fluff piece on an FBI Director performing his most basic responsibilities was funny, like maybe he is in some sort of trouble with Trump/the administration behind the scenes. I don't think making fun of or criticizing Patel is overly distracting from the larger issues like leftist violence, etc. but I'll stop derailing the thread on it. Probably beating a dead horse at this point anyways.

I do think his personnel involvement was political on his behalf, and how Valhalla comment was cringe enough to hopefully squash anything outside of being an appointee.

However I think the handling of the case was fine. They never said they had the shooter, just a suspect. When the suspect was cleared they communicated that. We had a guy seconds after the bullet was fired claiming responsibility to muddy the whole situation. There was no direct connection to the victim, and he was able to get out of the area immediately. It's a really fucking hard situation to try and ID someone on.

And I don't think it was luck that they caught him. As soon as they had images of a high confidence suspect, they made them public. Release them to quick and you risk an innocent person getting killed by a hot blooded vigilante. However, once they had that, asking the public for information was the quickest way to catch him. I think we are up to three separate people that we know about who turned him in, his father, his gay lover, and his religious leader. It was incredibly effective at identifying and apprehending him.

Not sure if your Mossad comment was directed at me or not, but I don't buy into the Mossad hit conspiracy.
No, I had been building up to a response to people mad about the FBI's handling of the case for a while, and it was more a general response to the thread than specifically arguing with you.

I believe you are right. Perhaps i can be optimistic about the future and we may in 20 years get a left wing who looks back at the SJW/Woke era of their party and be like WTF WERE YOU RETARDS THINKING? Like i do with the fundies. I advocate for a strong center-left party, because one party domination leads to lazy right wing nutter posting like this.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=H0kdm7fg804Fucking look at this shit. This is what the right wing was back in the early 2000s. Anti-fun up in everyone's business assholes.
The right wing needed to go through these things to chill the fuck out.
It is the most ironic of things, the same game journoscums that rallied against this shit. 4 years later told us all that games promote real life rapes during the Internet 9/11 known as Gamergate.
What the boomercons of Fox didn't understand is that we'd see the gay nude alien sex and laugh at the gay alien sex on our own without needing parents and grandparents to tell us to be disgusted by it.

Yea I have no idea why everyone is mourning for the spammers and the hysterical retards, it's like 10,000% more peaceful and chill around here.
What you don't miss the constant fucking full retard behavior of trying to fit every political decision the US does in to a NWO plan by the Jews from a propaganda book that was made over 100 years ago in Russia, and how we must constantly talk about a desert shithole? How rude.

If there's anything positive to come out of Kirk getting 360 no scoped it's that boomers and normiecons are finally waking up to the fact that yes your nice hippie neighbor with the coexist bumper sticker and the organic cruelty free community garden does in fact want to brutally murder you and your entire family for being straight and white.

No they do not see anything wrong with this and yes they do consider it compatible with their progressive ideology.

If Stephen Miller is indeed not BSing about going after Democrat organizations for their links to Antifa, BLM, and other violent fringe groups, I suspect they will turn up piles of evidence. Mayors, judges, DAs, and the like have always tried to keep layers of plausible deniability between them and violence, but the reality is the feds have just never gone after them. Bush didn't really care to, and Trump in his 1st term had 2 years absorbed by an FBI-run coup attempt, and then another 2 years absorbed by impeachment attempts and the GOP trying to outflank him. Since nobody's ever gone after them, I can pretty much guarantee they haven't been as careful about opsec as they should have been. It'll be interesting what a long-overdue RICO investigation turns up.

The head of the FBI is a bureaucratic position. It's not like Dynasty Warriors where the lead guy charges out and starts slamming hoards of criminals with a sweet pole arm doing badass combos until LuBu shows up.

edit: I get why people are bearish on Kash. He's a Jeet. He's a former prosecutor who was put into a lead position of an agency that had previously been tasked with destroying him, and he lacks the necessary infrastructure to clean house. And most importantly, we're all spoiled by the unleashed behavior of the lifetime fighters like Homan and Miller. It's hard to think of a proper replacement though. We know at least Kash is with Trump, for better or worse.

Not to mention the purity spiral, I guarantee there's so many jilted aids and bridges burned with 'allies' abandoned on the other side that it won't be hard to turn up credible testimony. Eating your own is never clean, and they've been doing a lot of it.

Civil War 2.0 just got taken off the schedule.
Stupid cope. If you don't have a civil war, you better have the great leftist purge instead, because this "we won" attitude is what constantly fucks the right. Your opponents hate you and as far as I'm concerned, getting sacked for a puddle of them is a slap in the wrist. You need to bruise them amd make them bleed so hard that they won't even think of trying their commie shit for a few generations that MUST be invested in fixing all the damage caused by their retardation.

You are seeing what letting them do whatever the hell they wanted for about 70 years produced, that shit is not fixed by the right slightly pushing back for once.

I'll also be interested to see if this finally starts to exhaust the Democrat's lawfare machine. Optimistic of me, I'm sure.

If the poo is serious about going after leftist domestic terror groups and I'm not convinced that he is then Rose City ANTIFA (Portland ANTIFA group) has tax exempt status because they lied about being a soup kitchen that fed bums organic kale or whatever and the deeply compromised Biden IRS pushed their 501c3 form through.

That seems like a logical place to start investigating.

Something to note about the gun control topic everyone is discussing this week. Charlie Kirk's assassin knew how to use a gun from a young age, yet he never used it against another human being until he became a liberal.
Gun control should not even enter into this conversation as a solution to this particular issue. The gun in question isn’t a “rapid firing” “assault weapon” as retards like to call them. It’s a bolt action rifle which isn’t covered by any of the gun law you see proposed. To my understanding, even countries like the UK don’t ban them (Brits please correct me if I’m wrong).

The ONLY gun control measures that would cover this type of firearm is a near universal ban on guns. And that’s simply not a realistic policy in the USA, regardless of its constitutionality or wisdom. And EVEN THEN it wouldn’t do anything to remedy this type of killing. Look, for example, at the death of Shinzo Abe. Or the fact that an assassin could have just come at Charlie with a Machete as he was walking out of the grocery store.

Yeah, them bringing up gun control at this juncture is a tacit admission that yes, they want everyone disarmed regardless of mental health status, and therefore all their "we just want guns out of the hands of maniacs" is a bad faith disingenuous argument.

They never say what they actually believe, merely what appears most rhetorically advantageous at the time.

seriously, we were a few corpses beyond "I will vote against your views on taxation" well before Kirk

hasn't it so far been up to and literally texting each other on issued phones to say "now we will enact our plot against Trump" "yes, begin the treason, comrade"
I don't expect subtlety

They're also completely legally protected on the local level, and have been attacking the ICE facility every night for 4 months or more.

You're looking at this way too logically to be honest. The people who want to ban guns don't know the difference between a bolt action a machine gun. Gun bad, that's it.

This shows my age but enjoy this article about a lawmaker who said we should ban high capacity magazines because then they'd all be shot through and we would run out of them. Like they're a one time use disposable thing lmao.

90% of democrats who would cringe away from or demand a ban from scary black tactical rifles would smile at a mini 14 when you're running the same capacity and the same ammo out of a normal "wood" rifle lol
