no doubt in my mind Sky Valdez knew these guys, something about gays and trans is that they're like their own little society, especially in red states. there are easily under 10k trannies and tranny lovers in the entire state of Utah, its like living in a small town of under that many people, word will travel real fucking fast.
Remember last month when some dude murdered the mayor of a small virginia town and it was revealed like the same day the mayor was fucking his wife and everyone in town knew the entire relationship timeline, same shit here. every tranny in a 100 mile radius probably heard and marked their calendars
I'm like 90% sure they took the 'don't post personal stuff on the internet' advice from their parents/other authorities and broke it to spite them.
its actually a lot more simple than that, these are their public facing profiles, to them the shit they're spewing is acceptable "coworker politics" its like how a man talking about going on a date with their husband is acceptable workplace behavior now vs 20 years ago. if they thought they were breaking the law they'd be more hesitant, but to them grave dancing is on par with posting about your local sportsball team winning or losing. the idea that they'd get in trouble from it has never crossed their minds
Beyond that most of these people are women, who usually aren't trolls or in trolling culture and don't go venturing to the seedy parts of the internet so to them the idea that they'd need to protect themselves in any way doesn't occur to them. its like giving an STD test to an infant, its like giving a kindergartener a breathalyzer, it wouldn't be something they'd think to do because those types don't exist in their bubble. they've never had to face consequences for what they post so it doesn't occur to them they need to think about it
It's been a long road since 2014. And even longer for him. He'd been fighting the good fight way before then.
remember the battle of berkley? it does make you wonder if people would have reacted the same if Kirk got shot a decade ago, or milo or coulter or any of the others that were doing debates. in general this feels like how John Lennon's killer picked the exact worst time to kill him. Kirk's reach grew a little more year over year and the amount of people punching from the right dropped as time went on.
If the right can refrain from retaliatory violence after this horrific event they've basically cemented themselves in power for a decade minimum
lol, remember Jan 6th? that was 6 months after a literal summer of love. the second someone on the right yells at a brown person every lib will say its exactly like Charlie Kirk's death and the media will help sell the fucking lie
