Surprisingly good take from the Bern, on one hand, but on the other, expected to be more measured as older living generations like the Boomers, Gen X, & some older Millennials lived during years where the tenants of debate were still honored, before “Punch A Nazi,” became a popular (& equally misleading) rally cry in 2016 during the Presidential election that year. There were not Nazi’s in those red hats, but people. Some mother with elementary school age children was punched because some Antifa faggot saw her red baseball cap & assumed she liked Trump. The normalization of political violence on the extreme left spectrum in the US (& beyond) has been brewing for over a decade, & kicked into high gear in 2016.

Charlie Kirk’s murder is in part the product of all the mainstream media’s lies, propaganda, & hate mongering. No consequences have been merited towards the MSM, as those very same people lay all the blame at Trumps feet alone, & it’s transparent what a lie that is. He has his part, but he’s also been demonized nonstop & attacked from many angles. MSM have shirked their duty to the people far more than any individual, encouraging people to hate, including upcoming young people.

Institutional trust is broken & needs rebuilding, & in the last decade it’s been almost only conservative politicians attempting to rebuild trust with their constituents. As extremist leftists call anyone & everyone who sees things differently a Nazi or Alt Right, they further alienate the people. Things always change & the changes on the horizon have been a long time coming.

this is what i dont get about these terminally online types who commit a shooting and then dont kill themselves. if you're so reliant on the internet to cope with life and escape the real world, how do you expect to live out the rest of your life trapped in a cell, surrounded by violent thugs who want to beat/rape you, separated from all of the vices that made your life worth living? if he felt he had nothing left going for him in life, and wanted to go out as some hero for troons or whatever, why not just rope directly afterwards knowing that the only other alternative is to suffer for decades to come in prison when you couldnt even handle life in the free world? also, blowing his brains out would have shown great solidarity with the trans community.

Seems to be an explicitly right wing publication (owned by a Republican state legislator), but a surprisingly reliable one so far as online-only ideologically focused publications go: it's won a few journalism awards from the Milwaukee Press Club every year since it was founded (2020).

They claim to have actually reached out to Lance's relatives, so everything seems to check out so far. Good work on their part.

The family member who hasn't spoken to Lance in a few years seems to have missed the change to Luna it seems.
