When the shoe was on the other foot nobody gave enough of a fuck to say anything. It's really admirable that so many people here still want to play fair though. I can completely understand people fed up with being literal Republicucks taking the moral high ground at their own detriment every single time.

I'm just going to put it this way. I've checked online in public discourse and people I know through social media and seen two different types of people gravedancing. They are either sheep or they are sick. The sheep have been posting 'whataboutisms' and putting up stories saying things like 'oh yeah well why was there no outcry for those two democratics that got shot in their homes?' or 'his words were filled with hate', things like that. Every one of those I had seen was taken from an article made by some website or social media profile with huge followers. They don't know what they're talking about because they're not thinking for themselves, they're just parroting. The ones that are sick are doing things like encouraging more assassinations and just straight up making threats because they actually are wishing death on others.

I know that for the past 10 years the left was making their opponents lose their income sources by being annoying fuckbags, but here's a better idea: If you know someone who says that they're happy about Kirk getting shot, ask them if they've seen the unedited video. If they haven't, why not? If they're so happy about him being dead, they should want to see it right? If they don't, then that either means that deep down they know that he was still a human being with a family. Or they're just too much of a wimp to see it and risk the possibility of feeling sympathy for someone they think is pure evil. These people aren't a threat, and they are capable of having their minds changed. Engage in discourse with them, just don't talk to them like they're retarded, even if they are. If you were a fan of what Kirk was doing, I think this would be a good way to honor him.
Now, if they HAVE seen the video, and they are STILL happy about it, well then they are sick and should be reported to the authorities. How much more of a red flag do you need? Freedom of speech has its limits, and calling for the death of public figures falls under the category of unlawful speech in the US. If they get detained or unvoluntarily committed, they'll lose their jobs anyways. It's a double whammy, they lose their income AND public safety has increased.

Last thing I want to add is that as sad as it is that this happened, I've actually been feeling pretty white-pilled with how many people I've seen mourn for Kirk, many that I wouldn't have expected. Even lefties I know are saying 'I didn't like the guy but he didn't deserve to go out like that, what the fuck.' And a lot of people who are usually quiet about politics are speaking out against it. I think it's a good idea to reach out to those people first to tell them you support them before sending out reality checks.

FA's is too poorly designed of a site for any meaningful "organizing". Most groups for that also gave up a decade ago.
