I fell back in to my TikTok addiction lately, and I can tell you it is extremely radicalized and extremely based. The vast majority of users are normal young people who have the infinity of the internet's videos at their fingertips.

They are watching bodycam videos, they are seeing war footage, they are posting uncensored racist memes to one another constantly. They are mocking furfags and tranny flag names in the comments without relenting.

I just saw a fucking badass edit of the cop who stormed the school a few years ago and shot that tranny, with a meme in the comments of his face and a tranny flag with a -1 next to it. This comment had thousands of upvotes.

These are the ifunny kids pouring out into tiktok. It is now funny and cool to be a race realist on there. I am also part of the Vrill, Agartha, and Take Back Europe algorithm. These are all based around white supremacy, European ethnic pride, and flushing out immigrants from Europe. And these are not niche communities whatsoever. I'm in Florida as well. Work is as scarce here as it is everywhere else - to add insult to injury, stuff's still expensive after covid lockdown inflation, though some gas prices are dropping in specific stations. If you want to avoid inner city crime kind of issues, don't go to Palatka or Daytona Beach. Want to avoid gay people? Don't go to Key West (possibly Gainesville as well). Simple as.

Moved to Florida from Michigan six or so years ago liking so far. I have a job I would never dream of getting up there. I would also say hurricanes suck but at least you get time off for it. Unlike snow storms and you have to drag your ass into work before, after and during a big snow/ice storm. Went back too Michigan a little while ago and it's horrifying how many woke fags I saw. Glad I moved!

Inconclusive. From what I know, it's a problem where these ideas get put through so many layers of bureaucratic nonsense there's no hope for the program by the time it actually gets to anyone and so can't be fairly judged. Can definitely say welding's the wrong profession for that though. The potential contraband mind you would probably be too much. Culinary, that much I do know, and know you're not really getting a culinary education or anything working mess... unless maybe if you cross the line twice and learn how alcohol works, nudge nudge. It's pretty much washing dishes and making sure the slop canteen doesn't kill people. Not exactly useful learning.

I did hear some good things about course-by-mail programs since they're naturally self-selecting for people who bother and the universities run them instead of the prisons, but the funding's never there and they can be pretty fly-by-night sadly.

It works to a degree. They mostly only let the non violent offenders do it. From what I've seen they only pick up trash and clear brush to prevent fires. It's more like a privilege for good inmates than a punishment since they get to go outdoors and it's relatively light work.

I wasn't a huge fan of the weather, having lived there for years. Hot, humid, and the season don't really change like in other parts of the country. Makes years blur together more than they otherwise do, I feel like.

Okay thread, slightly off topic but politics is a big factor here.

With California failing me, I’ve had enough, I’m literally willing to pack my car and just figure shit out anywhere in the country. I have no job here, and will have to move into my uncle’s garage anyway, so why not just leave and try to figure out life somewhere else?

What states should I consider and what towns/cities? I’m a Southern California guy, so I am not used to snow or climates like that, and I’m a conservative so I don’t want to leave Democrat hell for more Democrat hell. Especially with Newsom just ruining it all.
And lastly, I need to be able to find work wherever I go, so a cabin in the woods wouldn’t work.

Where do you recommend? I’m a little worried about Texas being too purple for my liking and null’s constant complaints about Florida has me worried too.

Florida is fine, as is the Midwest (barring a couple states) if you can deal with snow. Just do research on the state before moving. Don't just go by their presidential voting record also look at their governor, senators, and mayor of any town you're looking at.
Look at housing costs, gas costs, anything else relevant to you. Look at the local culture, read their local newspapers online, "walk" around town using Google maps to get a sense and look at the quality of the schools even if you don't have kids. "Good schools" is code for a reason.
If you can go out there for a week or so to see if you like the people. But don't fret too much because very few places are as bad as California.
I moved to a deep red Midwest state from a smaller blue state last year as part of family planning (wanted somewhere we could afford a house) and I'm glad we did. Don't regret it at all, especially with lower state taxes.

India has a grant system that helps them buy up property and start businesses in the West.

The Thai government does something similar, that's why there's Thai restaurants all over the place.
