South Park + Its Political Sperging (?) Thread - Season 26 ongoing!

It was just another crappy modern South Park episode, with all the usual shit I've come to hate. As they always do with their jokes now, they clearly thought "Trump is fucking Satan" was the funniest thing ever; the level of misguided confidence they have in these jokes is so embarrassing.

/co/ and Tumblr are soyfacing over the whole Red and Butters thing (I didn't watch the episode, just read about it).

I can't be the only one who thinks you're the gayest queerest cock munching faggot if you are unironically invested in shipping in fucking South Park of all shows..
Red McArthur exploited Butter's naivety for financial gain. She's not into him.

I'm still struggling with the realization that Rick and Morty and Family Guy of all fucking things have managed to maintain more dignity than nu South Park.
But that’s because they gave up thier dignity long ago, they’re like quirky girls where they know they have problems and go with it, South Park was lauded for biting satire and still is by people who haven’t seen the show’s entropy

I only watched the first episode and it was retarded so I'll ask, is there an overarching plot this season or is it literally

Trump shows up

Everyone in South Park calls Trump
Orange and Bad

They show Trump's cock for some reason

Trump fucks off

Episode ends?

Murdoch Murdoch's "jewjew cum" joke alone was a better insult of Trump than all of South Park episodes combined.
That was the gemmiest trvthnvke ever.

Drawn Together had Jew Producer (Trump) and a genocidal ISRAEL robot.

Brickleberry had Joe Biden as a sex oest that gets naked and Tucker Calrson as a sentient penis.

South Park has always been tamer and more left friendly. Magapedes being shocked over this is funny.
A tariff episode just sounds retarded conceptually.

"Hey guys you know what would make a great subject for our edgy comedy show about ten year old kids in a quirky small mountain town?"

"Tariffs and international trade disputes."
They need to get George Lucas for it and paint Jabba orange.

No they haven’t. They used to make fun of political insanity that exists on both sides. Like when they mocked liberal gentrification and how it hurts the people (like the poor I.e. Historical Views of Kenny’s House) that they claim to love. Or their old take on what is a hate crime. That’s why people are coping with “they hit both sidez!!!”. They used to.

Nobody is surprised they’re attacking Trump. It’s the quantity, quality, and refusal to do so for the left’s inane politicians too.
If you STILL can’t understand this, you’re literally too retarded for a discussion about an old fag cartoon.

You're giving way too much credit and hope to this guy.

Especially by
This phrase.

Dude's probably one of those who only became a fan circa 2016.

I always thought Matt Stone and Trey Parker were the biggest spergs among the big adult cartoon makers. Justin Roiland and Seth Macfarlane don’t bitch and moan about people they dislike finding them funny for decades.

M&T were seething because they didn't get the response from her they hoped, which in turn would create a feud putting the show in the spotlight in the news. Sometimes they got successful with that like Scientology and other times with Seth, Paris or even recently ICE would ignore it and/or run along with it.

Translation: "FUCK YOU WHY ARENT YOU SUEING PARAMOUNT OR GETTING VERY UPSET TO GIVE US ATTENTION AND EPISODE MATERIAL TO MOCK YOU MORE???"

I've always thought South Park was better at social commentary then actually being funny, but it seems like they can't even do that effectively nowadays
The universally liked classic episodes are just the boys going on a crazy adventure. With zero political or social commentary. And half of those episodes center on Cartman and Butters being front and center. The overtly political episodes usually age horribly unless they are tied into some media parody.

What South Park episode was more social commentary than jokes? And was actually good at the time? And is still good now?

Ya see that explains exactly why they are grovelling so abjectly now. "Both sides" became synonymous with literal collaboration with literal nazis to literally genocide literal brown trans children back in late 2016, and South Park was screeched and snarled over by the usual suspects in media for this for near enough a decade even as they threw far more shit at Trump than they did at the left, and given how the creators IIRC are very active in the LA famous people sphere this would have likely wound up getting them a bunch of grief from absolutely insufferable people IRL.

Come anudda Trump victory and they sure as shit were not going to make the same mistake again and jeopardise their place in the treehouse for the sake of a show they stopped giving a shit about before most of its openly pedophilic genderqueer fujoshi fanbase of currentyear were even born. Since they were still smeared as part of le pipeline to le alt right nahzees for the slightest pokes at retarded woke shit intermixed with ritual screaming of ORANGE MAN BAD, they are instead turning the show into one long Colbert/John Oliver tantrum lecture circa 2017 and dialing up the ORANGE MAN BAD a thousandfold and utterly ditching anything that even slightly mocks the left/liberal establishment and media for their role in his victory

I can't wait for South Park in 2-3 years have PC Principal play the role of Gavin Newsome after being fed up with Saddam-Trump.

God, it would have been funny if Trump actually died just to see how much it would have fucked up the season and it would have been on the scale of Trump's election.

Like yeah, the show is just Matt and Trey seething about no longer being hip and young. Oh, and as noted before a lot of the shit is Matt seething at his divorce and views towards women.

The season would have been better if we just got the Starvin Marvin return with him being chased by Diddy.

Yes those two have very thin skin. I thought this was common knowledge by now. They don’t seem to be social media/pr trained, which explains the open bitching and moaning they’ve been doing for decades.
