Without an imaging report we can’t say if a bypass is truly needed but we can say heart disease is caused by obesity and I believe she has it. Whether to this degree or not is a different story.

It's crazy cause statins, even without health insurance, are like $3 a month. There's little to no excuse to not be on them, especially if the high cholesterol is genetic. I'm sure she could've spared $3 from her fast food budget.
 
The catheratization alone is 50 grand just to do the imaging. She should be dead, but I guess being so sedentary there was just enough oxygen getting through for the lack of work load. Blood pressure of 190 is basically having a fucking stroke.

The dark bits I've circled are where the contrast fluid is. The paler or fainter the squigle, the less blood flow. You can see the "kink" after some of these, including the one in the top right. I'm not a cardiologist, but those are pretty bad.

For example here is a clearer 70% blockage of just one

Depends on the statin. Generic Lipitor isn’t as cheap but other generic statins are covered under Walmarts $4 generic prescription program. Also, Beck got lucky. If a piece of plaque broke off it could have caused a stroke etc.

Also agree about the bp being dangerously high.

Becks bill will be written off through charity care, the big thing is ongoing care outpatient with cancer etc. social workers will help with any assistance programs

Holy shit Necky is looking rough. I've seen healthier looking palliative care patients!
 
It enrages me that someone this hideously unhealthy still gets state-of-the-art healthcare (very likely at our expense) while other, more productive members of society (who likely can't afford taking time off work to seek medical attention even when they need it) generally get the shaft and the privilege of paying for it.

The Facebook groups are falling all over themselves seeing who can be the biggest pay pig. They have no idea how Medicaid works and anytime someone brings it up they claim it won’t cover most of her treatment.

it’s diet/lifestyle/decades of obesity. She’s had high blood pressure for a long time, which she also talked about. It isn’t genetics.

Genetics is having a heart attack in your 20s with a bmi of 18 and being fit and the same thing happening to other family members due to something like familial hypercholesterolemia, which is a gene mutation found on chromosome 19. PCSK9 gene and the gene for Apolipoprotein B are typically responsible for it. THAT is genetics, this isn’t. Genetics means strong family history of the same thing happening in the family, typically at a young age, with no known risk factors like diabetes, hypertension etc. Beck had all the typical risk factors for heart disease.
 
Going by the most recent picture of her, what do the rest of you think will be the odds Necky dies on the table? She's not looking good at all. She legit looks like she's about to stroke out.

this stuff has come a long way in a very short period of time, someone close to me had 100 percent blockages all around their heart and was walking around like that, finally went to the hospital and they put in a stint and he was “fine” in the sense that if he lived a healthy lifestyle and took his meds he life wouldn’t be shortened a significant amount.

She looks so rough because of the allergic reaction to the iodine in the contrast given to her. If there is a history of shellfish or other allergies you'll get sent to the hatman with benedryl before getting the contrast as a precaution (believe me they fuckin HIT YOU with the benedryl). The fact she's not fucking intubated on the spot should bode well for her surviving the table. There is obviously some blood getting through, but essentially none. If she'd had one blockage at one spot they coulda popped her open with a balloon and then she'd literally have had instant relief. The fact they need to totally revascularize instead of popping her open in one spot shows its just systemic layering of plaque and not a lession. Total CABG in your 30s. unreal. Barring an underlying genetic defect such as a myocardialbridging which would cause build up in just one spot, the rest of her arteries are going to look just as bad. Sure they might fix her heart but she's likely to stroke out in a few years, and in the meantime suffer horribly from peripheral artery disease. If she went on an extreme low calorie diet and put on high dose statins in 5 years she could turn a 90% blocked artery to a 85, maybe an 80. But thats the extreme end of reversal.

She's dead in 5 years if not sooner.

"Aunt Tammy please help Beck out" LMAO as though anyone in that shower of inbreds even has a pot to piss in never mind 5k lying around to give to your mental niece's ex who dumped her four years ago... Amber is the only one in that family with any kind of money and I think she'd sooner set fire to it on livestream rather than give ol' Necky a penny.
