That, and she's so lazy her father has to clean the frigging litter box. Having one cat is already too much work for her, she can't even bring herself to waggle a laser pointer or a feather tied to string for poor Siggy. A kitten would be even more demanding than an adult cat.

i don't think callous is the right word. ignorance? either way, she's just weird about animals, especially for someone who claims to be one with nature or whatever the fuck. i don't think it even occurs to her that she can personally help the kitty. lest we forget the tale of Edith/Fuzzy, the stray that hung around the frig's house that they liked to headcanon as peetie's girlfriend. yarbs would make tweets like "the poor thing is out alone in the rain, i really don't think she has an owner
" and just...didn't do anything. eventually they found out the cat's name is Fuzzy and belonged to the neighbors, but it took them so long to figure it out. it just never occurred to yarrow that yeah, a cat alone out in the rain is sad, but she could help the poor thing by bringing it in, or calling animal control!even if she can't/won't keep the kitten she could give it food, or call an animal shelter/animal control, or try to catch it and then keep it in a separate room from siggy until they can get it to a shelter or find a home. or maybe she could keep it. yarrow has to know about the cat distribution system, right? i'm sure she could bullshit some loki story about how he wants to invite some youthful vigor and chaos into the Brown household and it's fate that she saved this cat.

Like, if you look at a random parked car, you probably don't think "I should break a window, pour mayonnaise on the seats, and then put two pairs of old red shoes on the dashboard." You probably would be more likely to think that than Staph would be to think "I should help this person/animal."

Hello, I have hybristophilia. I am attracted to Jeff, and I have discussed it with my therapist.
I can understand the visceral reaction of finding out that people like me exist. But at the same time, I am just someone who has a paraphilia. I have never acted on my feelings. I talk about them in a few isolated places on the internet, or else in therapy.
I wrote a story about Jeff from the perspective of someone who may have met him and tried to have a relationship with him when he was alive. I did this in order to process my feelings. My therapist was appreciative that I did this. Unfortunately, doing so has gotten me comments from people who don't know me in real life saying that I am a disgusting person. I have been called worse than a Nazi, a white supremacist, and have often told to kill myself for writing this story.
I'm already a marginalized person who has a long and complicated mental health journey that has included multiple suicide attempts and hospitalizations. Writing my story was not an attempt to make the victims families angry or upset. I wasn't trying to romanticize his crimes or say that I condoned anything he did. I simply did it as an act of catharsis and to better understand my feelings.
Please understand that the people who have paraphilias such as hybristophilia are already under an immense amount of social stigma. I have only told one or two very close friends in real life about this. Otherwise, I hide it from everyone, anonymously and in shame of anyone else finding out. I'm not a monster, or trying to be edgy or disrespectful of anyone. I'm just a neurodivergent queer person who has gotten wrapped up in my emotions towards a man who seemed to be struggling with a lot of issues in common with mine: loneliness, trouble accepting himself, and intrusive thoughts and urges that distress him.
Think of me the next time you encounter someone like those who make these comments. We don't deserve to be treated like freaks or told to kill ourselves for feelings that we can't control.

maybe i'm mixing up my serial killers but wasn't dahmer notoriously an awkward autismo with no friends and no charm, and the only way he got victims was because he promised them money to take photographs? i'm pretty sure staph even brings it up in her self insert fanfic that the self insert is dating gay-town's local creep. she's so coom brained that she doesn't realize normal people don't think he's particularly attractive, and if they do think he is, the seriousness of his crimes kill the attraction.

Iirc Ted Bundy was the one who was a notorious ladykiller (literally) and there are quite a lot of ladies from that time period who have 'flirted with a cute guy, saw him on the news months/years later...' stories.
I would imagine most of the notoriously female serial killer fandom would probably have limited interest in Jeffrey Dahmer due to him being well known as a gay dude and obviously not into women (yes Stapphy, that goes for boxies too, still a woman, gay dude would still not be interested).

I didn't understand Staphylococcus' need to be 'accepted' for every fetish until I really read into how the common reddit troon and Tumblr BLT person writes online.
It's this chuunin, main protagonist-style ideology that everything and every notion they have isn't simply what it is, but it must be a main facet of who they are and more importantly, something they can hinge victimhood onto. The normal person might be into getting spanked during sex or something, and it will come up with their partner or prospective partners, if at all.

I'm still thinking back to that picture of her where she had a normal shirt and a facial expression, and I gotta say: Stephanie should look into embroidered tunics. They're still grandma-core and "easy care," but look much more plausibly pagan than a printed tee.
