Like I've said before, a lot of the long-time fans see a lot of themselves in Phil and because of that, they think they can do what Phil does. The problem of course is that Phil got in early when there was no competition and youtube pulled the ladder up after he got up it mainly because of him. If Phil started on youtube today, he would crash and burn real quick. If you listen to any of these faggots, their streams are full of dead air, they have no personality, and they're not funny.

Not only that, but they commit algo suicide. GamerStevie is a good example of this cause he changes his name every few weeks, which leaves subscribers confused and they dont want to put up with that. He has comments off, which killed Phil's channel for years. He also has a 15 week subscribe to talk in chat. A person watching a streamer isn't going to wait 4 fucking months to engage with them.

The big thing too is the underdog shit. They're losers that get picked on and so is Phil, and Phil wants money, so give it to him to make sure the successful guy dealing with this wins! The Takin' L's autism breakdown series covers this.
Adding onto this, I also think they have this idea that they can leech off of Phil's audience in some capacity. Which I get to some extent, that's generally why streamers collab in the first place, to share an audience. But Phil's audience is too small to really get any numbers off of, and the whales are too loyal to Phil to gift $100's every day to a second streamer. I think, as much as they might insist otherwise, Phil's viewers are also there for the drama more than anything else, and some small, no name streamer isn't going to have any drama associated with them.

Shameless beg tweet. Now he needs $300 at least to eat fast food.

I can't blame them. All it takes is one weirdo who is willing to give you thousands per month and it's well worth the effort.

Tony Hawk has destroyed Phil's entire body. Hair, hands, and skin hurts.

What the fuck is this guy talking about. You're 43, not 75. You atrophied slob, hit the gym or go outside. Such a whiny bitch today.

He has the creepiest way of referring to animals as "beautiful creatures" and talking to his cat like a baby. I guess I noticed it but never thought about it.
Talking to your pet like a child or baby isn't that unusual. It just sounds off coming from DSP because he's so incredibly self centered. Like a robot talking the way it thinks a human should to pass as one.

Not so sure about this. If we go by the assumption that Phil's genuine fans share most of his traits, it's probably not loyalty but a simple lack of curiosity. As we all know, Phil is completely content with living in his small mud pool and sees no reason to ever go outside of his comfort zone. Same with them - they are content with watching him and giving him money all the time, and feel no need to ever check other streamers.

As for the general degeneracy among his fans - social outcasts sticking with someone that is just like them (FR) but more successful. It is pretty hilarious how so many of his fans are into weird sexual stuff while Phil himself is a prude though

He seems to actually not know what the whales will pay him for and what they won't. I'm really curious why he doesn't just ask them on discord what they will give him money for instead of going through this same routine every time he gets a new game.
