Because usually it's too soft, too unhinged or, worst of all, too hermetic. I've seen South Park's "pro-Trump messaging" clip in several places before even seeing the episode. It's ridiculous, stupid and extremely funny because of this, as comedy should be. When people shared clips of Colbert, it was to laugh at Colbert. When people share "pro-Trump messaging" they laugh with Matt and Trey.

What is the big "lefty" story right now? Trans people have done that. Stupid Woke/PC shit, they have done that. Movies where they put a women in it and make it stupid and gay, they have done that.
How is that compared to Trump freaking out over something again and being cringe, or ICE? Later, the Epstein stuff might be brought up, and so on.

Its so funny how they are mad that the South Park people never made fun of the Biden's when these were the same guys who made fun of Dubya more than Obama. Hell there is no such thing as an obligation to fairness since people have the right to make fun of whoever they want. Like should a Right Wing cartoonist make fun of one of their own to be fair to the left.

Obama's intro episode was about him being in cahoots with John McCain and them getting into the White House for the sole purpose of stealing a diamond. He's also later one of the lead members of the group who lobbied for justifying the actions of rich billionaires who cheat on their wives.
