Over the past few years every so often a song from the band Sheer Mag would come up on spotify suggested, and a few of them were pretty good bops. Nothing to write home about, but some fun catchy stuff. I looked them up and unfortunately, in addition to having insane SJW lyrics that I never caught because I don't really listen to lyrics, their lead singer Tina Halladay is a real specimen.

Yeah but it's personal to them that everybody HAS to accept the fact that they have no self-control when it comes to food.

I've always looked at it this way, if you're not in a position to affect my life in any way... why the hell should I care what you think of me? Call me whatever you want. I'll either shrug and go on with my day or I'll point and laugh at you. The second way almost always gets an angry reaction from them which is why I do it.

It IS your fault.
There are a small proportion (less than 10%) of T2 patients for whom it’s NOT their fault. You can get diabetes when you’re thin, there’s a few genetic variants that increase the risk, you can get it secondary to pancreatic damage etc. Gestational diabetes ups your risk as well. NAFLD does too.
But the vast majority of people with T2 have it because they are fat.

I said "it's just your unlucky day." (I mean, I only picked her clinic because it had the words "CHICAGO WEIGHT LOSS" plastered on the front of it). we packed it up shortly after she threatened to call the cops, but the poster somehow traveled to the suburbs. people were scanning the QR code days after the protest, tens of miles away.

Because seriously, how pathetic is this? "Ooooh I'm so angry at weight loss that I'm breaking scales in front of a weight loss clinic!". It's utterly meaningless because I've always said the scale is not your friend. Judge your weight loss by how your clothes fit. And if you really need to weigh yourself do it once a week at the same time preferably after you pissed and dumped but before you have breakfast. After all your weight can vary by as much as several pounds throughout the day based on how much you've eaten, drank or when you went to the bathroom.
