Nick got hit by a lawsuit for calling a man a pedo, because he wouldn’t apologize.

Instead of settling (or apologizing) he hires the most expensive lawyer he possibly can, bleeding his finances to the point he lost his owned outright house and took out a new mortgage on his main home.

After spending several tens of thousands to a low hundred thousand dollars to fight the case, it is withdrawn because he was able to outspend his opposition, who realized he either couldn't or wouldn't continue to fund the suit.

Nick has gotten a technical draw at a exponentially higher cost to himself than his opponent. Because there was no fee shifting (something Nick was clearly gunning for) he is stuck paying Randazza's full bill.

I hope all of Nick's perceived Ws cost him a hundred K or a house.

Its a shame Hardin can't go for sanctions on the bullshit filings Randazza was using to inflate costs.
