There's a very real right wing "isolationist > disarm ourselves" pipeline that i think is going to be the next big subversion approach of the west now that raw leftism is finally getting the axe. Tulsi Gabbard is in a similar boat and one reason i've never liked her.
The answer to many of tucker's bullshit questions is "because we can and they can't do shit about it". Or more specifically "by killing those towelheads with a drone there's a .0001% chance it makes us safer and it costs us absolutely nothing to do. And there's a 100% chance it prevented many children from being raped so that's an added bonus". Any actual pro american should be okay with that, but he will dance around with all sorts of logical fallacies

"if we are forced to put boots on the ground we will do so in a warlike fashion, no mercy, no concern for civilian casualties, no holds barred, the safety of our men is our only priority other than achieving the objective. We will go scorched earth in such a way that makes the IDF's actions in Gaza look like a red cross mission". Every US military disaster from mogadishu to afghanistan has been directly the result of trying to hold back and play nice in an attempt at nation building. It has been made explicitly clear that when we treat military action like it's an actual war we can achieve near 0 casualty rates and be done very quickly. I'm still not saying we should run into war just for the fuck of it, but having a military you openly admit you're afraid to use is pointless.
