I've always said that if you don't mind getting your hands dirty then your best choice is to learn a trade.
Sure working in an office can be good. You're sitting, it's air conditioned, you have the internet and so long as you do your job nobody cares if you fuck around. Friend of mine works as an electrician meaning he can be working in hot and dirty conditions and there's always the risk of burns or shocks. But he doesn't take his job home with him meanwhile I can get called any time and it's all hands on deck. So there's a tradeoff.

Russ would have been perfect for the trades, to be honest. He's not insanely stupid, he has some motivation, and he can write something that passes for english. Nobody gives a fuck what tradies look like, either. Not being a methed out mexican would have been huge in his favor.
It would have been work, though.

He can't handle bants well enough to work in a trade. Insults are a form of bonding in that world. He'd throw a tantrum and walk off on his first day because the other guys were being too mean.

Russ would never make it in my trade, or in many others. And he actually is insanely stupid.
Personal appearance, a professional demeanor, and knowing your job are an absolute must. People do give a fuck how your employees look, act, and conduct themselves, "tradie" or not.

Bizarrely the courts wanted him to pay money but it’s excusable neglect because he wrote a note that says he’s not going to pay. Sir, this is a copyright case and the evil stalker Kiwifarms have done all kinds of bad things and he’s going to report them to the authorities real soon now!

Very rare. If you own your own business there are tax advantages to leasing a pickup rather than a car, but they don't have the cache here that they do in the US.
Range Rovers and Land Rovers, OTOH. Everyone and his wife seems to drive one these days.

Toyotas, especially Landcruiser Utes, are a staple on Aussie farms. They can handle the heat, the long distances and towing heavy shit.
On topic: if a drooling retard like Russell showed up to fix something in my house, I’d leave it broken or fix it myself. No way he’s coming inside.

Greee would actually be well suited to being a flagger for road construction. With his face people couldn't help but slow down or stop. I assume there's some special club for those guys since it's well paid despite being no skill, so probably not a gig he could actually get.
