Yup. He also wrote the "not good with kids" story as well, but of course PK had to turn that into a comic.

OpaOpa did write the Turf Tiger RPG, and he also wrote a 40-page long Turf Tiger fanfiction. I don't know if the stories OpaOpa will submit are portions of that or if they are entirely different things (which is actually even more surprising).

I didn't know he had written Not Good With Kids. I was under the impression he had written one of the other stories featuring Kid Neon, but I see no credits anywhere. It's interesting because PK usually credits both guests and "inside" people who collaborate (Marl and Eevee, for instance).

Opaopa is an interesting fellow indeed. He wrote all that Flora fanfiction and Flora headcanons too, became a mod and is now apparently part of the Flora creative crew. I can't seem to find anyone that... dedicated to Floraverse, besides Dena Beloved and MissFluffyKitty, I guess, but even they don't get to his level.

Since we are talking about him, lemme just say a few other things (that he's posted himself, mind). He is married and is a father, and has a private Twitter account that follows PK's NSFW and private Twitter accounts.

I mean, it's up to her what she wants to draw, I guess. Like if someone legitimately wanted to pay me to draw my own characters, I'd jump right on that shit in a heartbeat lol.

I agree with that, honestly, I'm just surprised at the fans, really, who have the opportunity to have their favorite (?) artist draw their own characters, and instead accept the artist's own. Whatever, it's up to them.

plants who express this are called monoicous by the way, she could've used that term if she wanted to be pc and it would be fitting as many of her species are plant based.

Floraverse is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license, meaning that people can add onto Floraverse through fan work or edits of existing work. but they have to list Floraverse as the source on the page where they post. This specific license does not prohibit sales. There are other CC licenses available that have similar creation and attribution clauses and also come with a non-commercial clause.

In theory, this means that someone could edit all of the bean mouths out of the Seeds book and republish it, and they'd still be within the terms of the license as long as they attribute it to the original source.

Just had a thought, regarding PK pushing commissions of her own characters.

When I go to shows and hold a table, nobody asks me for original characters. They want me to draw Spiderman, or Batman, or The Hulk, or Mario, or Pokemon. I've even gotten Homestuck a couple times. There was this one time some random furry picked me out and had me do a sketch card of his OC. But that was the only time someone had me do an original.

I think in PK's mind, people choosing Floraverse characters is just one more notch toward that "multimedia franchise" bullshit she's dreaming of.

But she's ignoring the part where her fans want her to be happy, so of course they're going to pick the thing that'll make her happy.

Also, about the intersex stuff? I really wish PK would've researched a condition, and then given it to FurFur, instead of just this... obvious, fetish crap.

Like, FurFur isn't any sort of real animal so she CAN probably take creative liberties with the biology, but the dick clit thing... that's not how that... works. Mammals just... can't... have... properly functioning both (which is why "hermaphrodite" is in fact an offensive term (when used to describe people); it's grossly inaccurate and only describes one (impossible, for mammals) condition anyway when being intersex can mean a whole slew of different symptoms/chromosomal layouts/organ orientations. You could have one ovary and one testicle and no one would know until you're dead and on the autopsy table. It's really fascinating stuff, ngl) Dick clits like THAT don't exist. You can't make something like this and say it's inclusive. It's not. It's shit.

Anyway, as it stands right now, FurFur's biology is just obvious fantasy fetish shit and as someone who's claiming to be inclusive/positive/etc. that's unacceptable.
