I wouldn't be surprised if they let him back out. Now don't get me wrong saying this, I enjoyed the video quite a bit of him getting arrested, and his rolling disclosure of himself revealing that he was a monster who absolutely would rape a child one day if given the chance, but I'm curious if a prosecutor or judge would allow the Pedohunter videos as evidence in this case. It employs a number of tactics that the police aren't really allowed to use on suspects and could undermine a conviction, including false promises by the fat bearded guy suggesting he would get a better sentence if he confessed to other acts he had committed. There was also the fact that they encouraged him to piss and shit himself on camera for entertainment prior for the sake of entertainment to get subscribers to pay them for a shock video, encouraging him to be a degenerate weirdo, and a jury might decide that they hate the Pedohunters and buy into a defense that they entrapped some mentally ill retard. I strongly suspect that there's also a mental illness defense underway for this guy and that he has some sort of Autism(claims ADHD, but gets offended over suggestions he has Autism), and he or his family may be pulling a Chris-Chan to absolve his actions. Chris raped his own mother and was allowed back into society just because he played the autism card.

Chris Hansen and amateur YouTube predator catchers have faced issues legally before. I think it also depends upon the state they're in. I'm not an expert on law, but I think the fact he already had a CP charge against him probably means he's going to still face some punishment, especially since they took his devices again and I wouldn't doubt that he still has CP on his devices. He's definitely going to try to go with the Tard Defense and "being so young" (21) defense. I doubt he'll see the full jail sentence of a pedophile that's actually gone through with the rape, but I definitely think he'll face another charge. I wish he would just be given the death penalty though rather than having taxpayer dollars wasted on him.

According to the thread he's scored a number of convictions, and at least one documented suicide but has had cases in the past where a suspect had to be let go, because of him. The only trouble Hansen ever got in with those was from the judge that killed himself when police were raiding him because his family was upset they caught a pedophile. He literally worked with the police for all his investigations (except the first one, but he didn't have any legal issues they just didn't have police partners).
