It's like they forget that field kitchens were extensively used by every single military in WW2, while the above picture of a Burger King in Afghanistan really just shows us that this was how not seriously the "War on Terror" was being taken.

Sure, American troops got things like canned pound cake and other "luxury" foods during WW2, but that was done for morale because it turns out that wartime sucks and we could afford the cost to give our troops a little comfort far from home. Some cans of pound cake to the GIs in Europe, or the ingredients to make ice cream on a Navy ship in WW2 are vastly less of a drain on logistics than shipping an entire goddamn Burger King in the modern day.

Maybe instead of a BK in the FOB, we could make sure our troops don't have to still get issued shit that was obsolete when my dad was in the Army.

Like. I said, mass size and resources, and production means massive fleet and better security for logistics , Germany was blockaded from Britain and haven’t gone full autarky yet so that’s why it had weapon quality issues and uses horses and trains for logistics, and i must ask, has the uk done something similar to the us logi of basic goods

As disappointing as it is to see this thread fall by the wayside, it's only natural. NAFO was never going to survive a second Trump presidency. They've been very quiet ever since November, probably because threatening the sitting POTUS isn't a good look.

The actual state of the war definitely doesn't help either. It's a lot harder to pretend that Ukraine is gonna sweep aside the Russians and take back Crimea in an epic lightning campaign than it was a year ago and that's just not as fun
 
Not to mention how after the sleazy cars salesman and the living tangerine started cutting foreign funding left and right, coincidentally, the NAFO noise online winded down quite a bit.
