A Russian one-star general serving as deputy operations chief of the general staff has been killed by a car bomb, officials have confirmed. The incident that claimed the life of Maj.Gen. Yaroslav Moskalik occurred on Friday morning in the suburban Moscow town of Balashikha. Russia’s Investigative Committee has said the improvised explosive device planted inside the car was packed with metal fragments for additional lethality. Article/Archive

The Volkswagen that exploded in Balashikha has been resold at least three times since the end of January this year.

35-year-old Margarita V. transferred the car to a man born in 1995 from Azerbaijan. He almost immediately resold the car to 26-year-old Andrey P. Who claims that a week later he resold the foreign car to 40-year-old Ignat K., a native of the Ukrainian city of Sumy.

On April 25, at about 10:40 a.m., a Volkswagen parked near the entrance detonated — at the moment when Major General Yaroslav Moskalik left the house. He was killed on the spot by the blast wave and shrapnel. Link

All this occured right as Witkoff's plane lands in Moscow to meet with Putin.

there are enormous economic interests in the ukrainian conflict. since 2 years now the MIC has been supplying the war, a huge font of revenue completely out of control; there will be strong resistance.
i heard an analysis from a british guy i forgot the name who says the USA is merely transferring the ukr hot potato to the europoors in order to get equipped to fight china, and the US will in a way or another keep the money and weapons flowing. not sure how much this is based on reality but it sorts of make sense.

my question still is, why is the US still sending guns, ammo, intel and money to Kiev? because it is obvious they are. do the neocons/ deep state still have so much power in US govt?

IIRC he's always had the most jingoistic political views on Russia so this is a notable change in tune. Klitschko is now one of the most senior Ukrainian politicians to indicate publicly that his country may have to give up territory, albeit temporarily. Could indicate that a wheel is slowly turning, but I also wouldn't be surprised if he retracts it after a phone call with a certain furious gnome.

And how exactly do they expect to get the land back later? I don't think saying that you're treating this as an extended ceasefire and intend to retake these territories with military force later is something you should be talking about in public. Quiet part out loud and all that.

Right now they are still sending stuff that was contracted by previous administration.
But i feel it in my heart that if negotiations fail - trump will start sending the shit again. Partially as a big 'fuck you' to putin, partially to prorect american investments, partially to support american weapon manufactors.
The intelligence is still a big question for me cause if the us stops it would mean total hohol death

It's Olga in English regardless how hohols or anyone else decides to mangle it. As is Kiev the proper spelling of the capital of the Ukraine and not Kyiv. The given name Vladimir is not spelled Volodymyr. Hohols have absolutely no right to tell English speakers how to spell or pronounce places, persons and things in English.

Ольха is indeed a kind of birch tree and it's called an Alder in English.

not sure that "previous administration" excuse can still stand. and as far as i can see US is still sending stuff like before else the ukrops would have already folded. i am also sure trump could close the tap if he really wanted. maybe they are still sending stuff because the europoors are not able yet to take over? will they ever be? now that would be a clever trick. keep sending guns, ammo, intel and money but on the eurocrap's dime, which is btw 100% debt. now that would be a 3 birds killed with zero stone: europe gets even more in debt, deindustralized and vassalized, the MIC keeps raking up profits, russia needs to keep fighting.
