It's great having your own baby, they're adorable tiny people who quickly become adorable little rug rats who love singing for Mommy and drawing pictures for Daddy. Some babies cry a lot but many don't, many babies sleep most of the day and are easier to take care of than a new puppy, and even the loud ones usually settle into a sleep pattern quite quickly. It doesn't need to be expensive, people will happily give you boxes of baby clothes and old toys for free. You don't need to buy the brand new $900 car seat.
