A therapist is only as good as the information you present them with. It's why NPD and BPD are notoriously difficult to treat through therapy, because these disorders are characterized by thinking patterns that encourage outright lying and manipulative behavior. So unless the therapist knows what they're dealing with, they've probably been conned into playing into someone's victim complex for money. Or are complicit because it pays the bills.
Personally, I am fine with someone going to therapy but the profession has become way too pozzed due to the woke colleges. It is one of the professions that has regressed.
Not completely, but you do need to shop around. I find the men who are into the profession are more likely to try and think of solutions, rather than the women who mostly act as a sounding board for emotions you have.
