And a lot of that shit was being made in other countries, like Japan. Sony, Nintendo, Takara, Subaru, Yokohama, to name a few companies. Remember how science fiction in the 80s and 90s portrayed Japan’s corporate dominance over the United States? That was thought of as prophecy at the time.
Japan isn't China.

I wrote this big ass wall of text that goes out of its way to explain why some of the things that are happening can be beneficial for the American people for @Buck Broken Chimp and they just read my last block of text that made fun of them for 30 seconds and replied to that. What a waste of time.

the Vietnamese general that's in that famous picture which shows him executing that VC serial killer in saigon settled in Virginia. I'm sure he is long dead now. he was convicted of war crimes for the execution but president Carter personally stopped his deportation.
Remember the guy who he yeeted in that picture was an infamous torturer and war criminal who kept being let out of jail by corrupt commie prosecutors and the like. So finally when they arrested him and he smugly bragged about how he'd be out in a few hours again, they just shot his ass.

Given how the left currently conceptualizes morality, wonder why they'd be upset at the idea of good men taking justice into their own hands after a corrupt system keeps letting the most horrific of human shit out to continue victimizing people.

How do tariffs help us afford houses ? If anything they do the opposite. If trump actually cared about helping young people afford houses why an't he just take the tariff bailout money (last time it was 28 billion it will be even more now) and use it to build more houses ?
Most of the cost of building a house is regulatory red tape. This has nothing to do with tariffs.

Seems China's space stuff are not covered much by Western MSM.
It's always been that way, when it comes to other nations space accomplishments. I have found a lot of poeple have no idea the Russians sent a lander and have photos from the surface of Venus.

you’re trying to argue that America needs to devalue the dollar to rebuild its internal economy, while simultaneously claiming that America’s massive global leverage (i.e. 40% of the global economy) makes it resilient.

You can’t have it both ways. That leverage exists because the dollar is strong and trusted globally — it's the reserve currency. If you weaken the dollar substantially, you lose that leverage.

That’s the real contradiction, you want the benefits of being the global hegemon without paying the costs, and you want protectionism without accepting the price increases it creates for consumers.

Also, the idea that America “doesn’t export anything” is just wrong. Compared to most of Europe, America actually still has a real export base: aerospace, agriculture, industrial machinery, medical equipment, and tech. The U.S. is still the second-largest exporter in the world by value, behind only China.

No it's not the foundation is the most expensive part of any home building project. This is just wrong nothing else to say

Yes. You don't engage with baitposters. They don't care, they just want to piss people off, demoralize those who don't get outraged, and forum slide. They show up in cycles and usually only one at a time. It's transparently obvious what they're doing.

I am a debate poster I debate I respond.

The point of tariffs was to move manufacturing back to America, creating actual jobs instead of relying on the teat of the government.
If the jobs only exist because of tariffs isn't that not just relying on the teat of the government ? If you want people to feel a sense of pride in work why not jsut have employment requirements attached to government housing programs then.

This one always shows up in a pair.

This simply isnt the case, hence why Ive mentioned two difference sources, Warren buffet, and Hudson Capital. You should read more about this rather than speculate which pieces cant fit together; the only reason the American dollar is overvalued is due to an infinite demand due to reserve status, the simple way to balance the price of the dollar vs other currencies for trading is (SURPRISE!) tariffs (or if youre warren buffet, a market controlled instrument speculated on by investors that function as tariffs)

global neoliberal values masked by some kind of anti government outrage bait. one of the few functions the government should have is to ensure the stability of a nation, external factors, like a country willing to use slave labor to sell your whole enterprise out from under you, is a threat to your internal economy.

I would ask if you learned any lessons from this, but I can see from your last few posts that you haven't.

China has one of the highest home ownership rates in the world and Chinese people love land ownership more then baccarat it's the man form of investing. You are factually incorrect no two ways about it.
China has a zero percent home ownership rate. The CCP owns ALL of the land in China.

The “houses” that Chinese people buy are <70 year leases on commieblock pods (it’s a 70 year lease from the CCP, but the timer starts when the developer gets permission to build, not when the “owner” “buys” their home).

You know what those youths would really like TO AFFORD A FUCKING HOUSE
No can do, boomers need their line to go up.
They were gloating about Hollywood dying not too long ago.
>haha sirry Amerilacan. You tariff us we bannu Horrywood firlms from praying ina a china.
Ok?

The Chinese might actually think we're going to die if we don't get their plastic slop.
If China kills Hollywood it'll be the best thing they could do for America.

The Russia landing is still insanely impressive even today.
