The Google Map blur is fairly unsightly, and is a permanent edit that Google will not undo for any reason. Hurts resale (if that matters to him) and makes you stand out much more compared to just being another average McMansion on the block.
I also just tend to think it's a less invasive way to confirm his dox, matching up public photos to his videos. Compared to people pulling public records or doing something autistic to him and his family.
