Maybe you should learn some history. The only reason the Supreme Court has its modern powers is because it gave itself those powers in Marbury v. Madison through its own interpretation of Article III of the Constitution. The only reason its rulings carry any weight is because the other branches of government have chosen to go along with them. Andrew Jackson, however, demonstrated that the Court is unable to enforce its rulings without the support of the other branches. This means the Supreme Court’s monarchical power to define what the Constitution says only goes as far as the President and Congress are willing to tolerate.

What's puzzling is why they couldn't wait until the Trump admin mistakenly deported Paco Amigo, the humble and lovable leafblower operator instead of Mucho Rapino, the tattooed fentanyl salesman. This will inevitably happen, it could be a lot more successful to build a case, yet here we are. Sure, they could once count on selling the second guy as a harmless family man, and they could enjoy the power play of doing so, but there are currently too many eyes on their pets to do it successfully.
