The book claims they had coached Kamala to try and be more off the cuff, but her her aides were feeling cheated when the Trump appearance on Rogan's show dropped the morning before her rally.

I had the radio on today in my car while running errands, and a station I listen to had a bit on where they had a woman talking about having an abortion when getting pregnant out of wedlock when she was young. She started sobbing during telling her story. I felt very uneasy and horrid listening to it, like I was either going to get sick or pass out listening to it.
