I wish Spider-Girl didn't have him crippled (I know you were talking about later than that) but I always wished they had let that play out into that instead of turning it into the MC2 thing. At least just for Peter. Given the trailer makes it look like they're from an alternate universe and there's a sort of fuzzy softness to it all, I'm giving odds on the storyline being some sort of transition into the mainline universe and Sue discovers that she can be a modern and independent woman here, escaping from the 50's era confines of her home universe.

Oh, and Doom will be the Tony Stark of their universe, but I don't think that's much of a prediction. It's going to be something along those lines. Which is infuriating because Doom is nothing like Stark. They need someone downright Shakespearan to play him.

A reversal has happened in the latest comic run.

The Shakespearian requirement is an interesting one but if the intellectual colossus behind the MCU that is The Great Fiege wants to go with that he has the ideal candidate available. There is a young actress who recently played Juliet on Broadway and is known to and highly regarded by Disney. She is active on social media and certain to generate publicity. I'll need to check but I think her name is Zegler; clearly a superstar in the making.
