I remember my uncle talking about people melted onto metal. My second cousin still can't sleep a full night after 30 years, for reasons he won't tell anyone. It really is a horrible sad thing.

There is nothing material stopping America from doing unto Yemen as Temujin did unto Khorasan or Rome unto Carthage; from Massacring whole population groups and taking the surviving women and children as slaves, or diluting their demographic makeup with imported people who hate them and will in turn do the butchery for us. We CAN defeat them, the only question is how much of our own civility and humanity are we willing to give up to make it happen.

That flip-flop happened the second Barack Obama became POTUS, and when he renewed and added more stuff to The Patriot Act instead of getting rid of it like he had promised several times in 2007-2008.

Every day during the Bush Administration, I kept hearing about The Patriot Act from Democrats (rightfully so-- The Patriot Act is authoritarian bullshit!). The second Obama became POTUS, The Patriot Act wasn't mentioned by them ever again. Amazing.

There was also the NSA scandal of 2013 during Obama's presidency. Crickets from the left.
