And when Trump tanks the market another 30% and it takes 3 years to recover the GOP is gonna be absolutely btfo in 2028 for the same reason
So you think all these random countries just have much more robust economies than us? The potash depot canada, the plastic and press board sweatshops of China? Mexico and their corn? I don't know why so many people want to invent this alternate reality where we don't have any capability to do anything or adapt and are apparently dearth in natural resources despite having a large and geographically diverse pool of them

If that's what happens then, yeah, the GOP is fucked. Right now, Trump hasn't even been president for 3 months.
I remember Democrats screeching under Bush "the stock market isn't the real economy" when the stock market was doing well in the lead up to the 2004 election. They hammered him out the door in 2008, and then went back to saying the market didn't matter when it tanked under Obama. Under Biden it was always hilarious when the economy was doing poorly the stocks just kept rising. Jobs report was off 100k? Stocks up 700 points. We are in a recession? Change the definition, stocks up 700.
And now we know why stocks kept rising during Biden: his administration was straight up handing out cash to artificially inflate it.

Markets up and down misc posting
Renovating the economic landscape to improve it for yourself longer term means you're going to slow down short term. This isn't goalpost moving but answering you in sincerity since everyone behaves like everything is happening for the first time ever in history with zero precedents ever and if it doesn't resolve in two more weeks then nothing is happening and it's all joever and it's tiring as hell.

No shit a bargaining and stage setting induced pause and a disruption in the status quo isn't going to make things go up in the short term. It's not meant to, there is no delusion that it is meant to. The living room floorboards being harder to navigate when they're in the middle of having the rotten planks replaced is an intentional and expected part of the process.

Panicky people used to easier more predictable rides are selling or holding, and the actual tangible business part of the market are making risk averse moves and volume adjustments until the dust settles. This is going to reflect in the market until the ink is dried and seeing who can manage to continue to ree-sist or fold or bargain back. And that's the wait and see part.

IMO taking you at face value and not completely out of hand dismissing you as "Latest thing to say drumpf fucked up posting"It's probably best to wait to gloat in magnanimous and correct victory or admit you were wrong when it's actually said and done. Because the current timeline and trajectory everyone so far rolling in to go "It's over [name] is finished" has been sharply corrected when the train stopped rolling more often than not.

When it's in motion, even the people for it are, at the end of the day. Just bullshitting and speculating.

It’s official. the switch 2 is delayed by Nintendo because they need to “figure out“ the tariffs. Trump just crossed gamers.

I heard games on switch 2 were going to be $80. I have a switch and I can’t think of a single game I got for it that was worth the $70 I paid for it. I think Nintendo is shooting themselves in the foot and that no matter the tariffs the console won’t do well.

I think they know this and that’s why they’re being so Jewish about emulation.

>crashing the market is good actually, because it pwns the libs
You know we can just look it up and see it much lower many times over the last few years under Biden right? Where were all you crying bitches when it was dropping close to 10k in 2022?
Either: A: None of you retards are capable of looking back at previous stock performance, in which case nobody should take you seriously
or B: You know they dipped much lower but are just being dishonest
Which is it?

DK Bonanza is $70.
Mario Kart World is $80. Digitally.
Mario Kart World is $90 if you want a physical copy. And even then, it could just be a key game cart. Which means its just a license on a cart and you still have to download the game. You spent $10 for paper and plastic.

I'm kind of inclined to say this evens out. You want a weapon California says you can't have? Move to a state that says you can. Want to stay in California and break state gun laws? Well the feds would hate for you to diminish state rights, so they'll just uphold those for you.

It's time to abandon California to, well, California. Any based individuals still there should go someplace that actually wants based people.

Exactly and we on here said exactly that. I remember every time the market would start plunging it would miraculously go on a week long streak to record highs even when the economic news was horrible. Today Trump's job report was nearly 100k more jobs than predicted, yet stocks keep tumbling.

The real market looks fine to me.

Embarrassed I even went and checked this, usually only do it twice a year or so.

Forever gonna be funny there are Kiwis F5ing trading sites every day.

Its not worth checking stocks or your portfolio everyday. Just set it and forget it. Mind you, you still need to invest in your stocks every month if you take a cut in your paycheck. Or just hire someone to do it for you.

Schwab U.S. Large-Cap Growth ETF (SCHG) and Schwab U.S. Dividend Equity ETF (SCHD) are still my favs (60/40). Done pretty well over the last 5 years.

Nintendo fucking sucks. Biggest mistake I made recently was paying $60 or whatever for the last Mario Party game which is dogshit and not fun compared to the old ones.

Yep. Just a reminder to the board libs though, if you invest in index funds, don't burn any Tesla cars! You probably just bought that company!
