Just popping in here to say that, as an avid iFunny user from around 2013-2020 this thread has been a great (albeit bittersweet) trip down memory lane, I'm seeing lots of names I haven't heard or thought about in a very long time. Someone really ought to make a wiki so all of this lore and other information is in one easily digestible piece. Also, how has nobody in here mentioned the user thestrokes? That guy was almost lolcow-tier as he was a genuine incel type before that stuff really blew up but I think what disqualified him from that status in people's eyes was the fact that he made some legitimately hilarious posts (he made the "you just admitted you're a fucking war criminal" thing that was in a compilation posted earlier in the thread).

In early 2018 he would gain infamy due to a textpost in which he went into detail on his desire to murder his family that ended up being seen by his mother who, from what I understand, was already aware of his account. If you ever saw the textpost that just said "may god have mercy on my soul" or something to that effect, that's what he posted as a followup when he got in hot water. I have no idea what happened to him afterwards BUT around that time there was a video posted by another user (thestrokes presumably sent them the video or posted it elsewhere himself, the latter is more likely) in which thestrokes and his mother were having a "conversation" about the post--more like him trying not to cry as he was being chastised for said post--and it was the most secondhand embarrasment-inducing thing I've ever seen and it's my holy grail of lost/obscure iFunny things as I never saw it again after it was initially posted. I suspect that it was deleted soon after, otherwise it would be getting endlessly reposted even to this day.

Detroids was a disaffected high schooler around the time he was posting, the only thing I really remember about him is his constant posts about how much he "FUCKING HATES SCHOOL FUUUUUUUUUUUCK". he was a recurring character in shitposts similar to FatPat: Yup. He also had a spotify called Scarsza if I recall, since removed. It never took off.

Feeling his oats that night, he reached out to try and rekindle the connection, only to find out that the woman was in a long-term relationship with a pajeet.


This revelation sent shockwaves through the community. Many took the opportunity to dunk on him for easy likes, while others stood in solidarity with their Italaryan brother. I hadn't seen this level of division since the old Pagan vs. Catholic beefs which have all but subsided.

Truly despicable that many iFunniers would come out and kick Feti at his lowest. I almost think it is in bad taste to even archive (almost). Feti is a man who wore his heart on his sleeve, it took a lot of guts to put himself out there like that, though perhaps he didn't realize the vindictiveness of many of his peers. I stand with Feti, because he is us and we are him. I fucking stand with Feti.
Also worth noting that this is the genesis of iFunny's hatred of jeets beyond ambient racism which would shift into maximum overdrive come 7/11 (never forget).
