Not sure if this has been posted, but Judge Ana Reyes in the District Court for DC had an ethics complaint filed against her after she went crazy shitlib at the attorneys for the US in a hearing about the transgender military regulations. She started engaging in religious interrogation of the attorney and used him in a really inappropriate dramatic staging of how she viewed the regulation—saying he couldn't appear before her because of the law school he went to, telling him to sit down and shutup.
Judge Reyes is a Biden appointee and
an openly LGBT judge. Perhaps unsurprisingly, she is unmarried and her Wikipedia picture is of her and her large dog.
Notably, the attorney who signed the complaint, Chad Mizelle, is the husband of Judge Kathryn Mizelle, a District Court judge in the Middle District of Florida (Tampa). She clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas and is the youngest of Donald Trump's judicial appointees, being in her mid-30s now. She's also generally considered very sharp. You don't want to get on her bad side—she recently kept a lawyer in jail for contempt for withholding certain discovery information, and refused to consider a motion to relieve him of the contempt punishment that was submitted on a Friday so that he would have to spend the weekend in jail until she reviewed it.
She's a sleeper candidate for being a Supreme Court justice because of her age, sharpness, and because she clerked for Thomas. If Thomas dies or steps down during a Republican administration, she's going to be on the shortlist.
