I find this part of the Willy DM's to be very frustrating.



He uses this analogy about Wii baseball, to argue that there are facts that can be construed to create ‘true’ statements. But that they could be done so in a self-serving way that exaggerates the severity of an action.

I'll breakdown his example first though:
-Destiny and Frank did play wii baseball
-Destiny did make an avatar
-Destiny called the avatar 'bitch' because it looked like Frank's mom
-Therefore Frank can reasonable say Destiny called Frank's mom a bitch

In Destiny's own hypothetical, it would be reasonable for Frank to make that claim. I don't see how this could be framed as a disingenuous statement on Frank's part.

My takes aways from willys vid are, first its still a positive as he did cover the topic and he does call out destiny in it so thats a plus even though he muddies the waters. We will have to wait and see if he does a follow up vid especially so if destiny reacts to it so he can call him out after the fact on how he twisted the narrative of his video.

Destiny is trying to establish a narrative that does a few things. Dismiss his victims claims, portray himself as a victim, and direct his audiences anger torwards the "real" villain. Willy's video goes to great lengths to establish how unreliable and bad the accusers are. It takes Destiny's statements of victimhood at face value, and it spends an absurd amount of time telling the audience why Sunday and Beckett really fucked up the entire situation.

Destiny will use this video to advance all his narrative goals, without having to make the claims himself and avoiding the bulk of the legal consequences of that.
