Steve genuinely sucks at interviewing. He's the beneficiary of a lot of great documentation thanks to dedicated detractors, but he has no idea how to use it properly.

Phil can dance around this guy all night long. Lie after lie, and Steve can't really do anything about it. This is amusing at times, because of the info being thrown in Phil's face live, but Steve just lets Phil lie his way out of every point.
